Our fall tree planting program is here!!

Select from a variety of trees, pay $85 (a portion of the cost of a tree), and we'll plant the tree.

🌳Trees are 1.5-1.75'' DBH (diameter at breast height)

🌳Trees can be selected for in front of your home (between sidewalk and street) or in select public parks.

🌳Order the trees online and we'll do the rest.

Things to note:

➡ If you've recently had a tree removed from your terrace, it's recommended that you wait two years before planting a new tree (if you'd like it in the exact same spot).

➡ Trees are for planting on City right of way (between sidewalk/street), and cannot be ordered for your front yard.

➡ With a purchase of a tree for a designated park location you get a complimentary PlaNT it Forward Tee Shirt

25 years ago, a day we will never forget. 2,9777 lives lost during the 9/11 attacks. This weekend we are honored to have Gratwick Park as the site of the Healing Fields. Special thanks to Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club for orchestrating the whole event. Let us remember and honor the lives together in community.

Monday Nights- YOGA FLOW- Sept 21-Dec 14 Held at Ohio Elementary School. Classes are at 6pm This session contains 12 classes. Get into the flow with stretching, muscle toning, flexibility and core strenghtening Instructor: Erin Robinson.

Tuesday Nights- ZUMBA! Sept 8-Dec 15 - Before & After Fitness Center- 525 Wheatfield Street. This session contains 15 classes. Classes are held at 6pm on Tuesday evenings Instructor: Holly Hue

Wednesday Nights- PILATES! - September 9 -December 23 at Drake School. Class starts at 7pm and your instructor is Terrie D'Andreamatteo. Bring mat, good sneakers, and water. This workout features working on core strength and stability to help you tone up.

Thursday Nights- BODY BOOT CAMP!- Sept 10-Dec 17. Held at Before & After Fitness Center- 525 Wheatfield Street. This session contains 14 classes total. Class is held at 6pm Holly Hue is your instructor. Bring a mat, good sneakers, water, hand weights and get ready for a great workout!! This full body workout includes cardio, muscle toning and core movements

Monday - Friday- HALL WALKING!- September 14 - May 14 at The NT Intermediate School 1500 Vanderbilt Ave. 4:30-8:00pm. This winter don't let the rain and snow keep you stagnant. With access to the first floor of the NTI school, you can walk the halls and stay moving!

Dare to Repair Cafe is back at the North Tonawanda Senior Citizen's Center (110 Goundry Street)

Check out this great program. Before throwing out that broken lamp or item, head to our Dare to Repair event and get it fixed! All ages are welcome to register to attend this event on Tuesday September 15th from 4:30-7:30pm.

Looking for something fun tonight? Tonawanda's Gateway Harbor has just the thing. Stop on by for this family friendly affair!

This Friday, join us as Buffalo Comedy Collective takes the stage for the last of our Friday Spotlight Stage Series events. They'll be putting on a family friendly show featuring improvisational comedy played as a sport. High energy short-form improv show has two teams of professional comedians improvising games, songs, jokes, and scenes while a referee calls fouls and fields suggestions from you, our loyal fans.

Join the fun Friday August 28 starting at 6pm at the Tonawanda Canal Street Pavilion.

😀Youth Center Attendant: Work at the Youth Center assisting with youth programming and supervision.

🏈Youth Flag Football: Assist with the flag football program as a coach, referee, scorekeeper

🏀Youth Basketball: Assist with the basketball program as a coach, referee, scorekeeper

🏐Adult Volleyball Referee: Assist with the adult volleyball program as a referee
