Gastank MMA

I’m so impressed with these kids today! Brady isn’t pictured, but we had 4 kiddos compete after a long week at wrestling camp. All 4 kids earned a least 1 gold medal today. So proud of them. This was Bo’s first jiujitsu tourney ever and he beat the #2 ranked Fuji BJJ kid in the world! So excited for him and all the other kiddos. Blessed to have such hard workers represent the gym. Can’t believe they did a brutal week wrestling camp, then jumped straight into a tourney the day after camp ended. That is some dedication and commitment that you see in champions. I could brag on these kiddos all day! You can be sure to catch them back on the mats.

Wow! Just finished up the first ever Gastank wrestling club camp. Very successful week! So blessed to have had such great coaches in to help and teach so much great techniques. I learned so much myself to help me become a better coach. Very proud of these kiddos for sticking it out all week. It was long days, tough days, but very fun days. These kids are wore out for sure. But some of them are still doing a jiujitsu tourney in the morning, it dont stop here at Gastank MMA. Again, so proud of you savage kiddos for grinding all day every day this week at the camp. You all impressed me for sure and excited to see you use your new tools in competition. We will for sure be having another wrestling camp next year, inviting the same coaches back. No classes in morning due to tourney. Catch you all on the mats!

Today we have had coach Olds in with his ladies from east. Very blessed to have my wrestling coach from school to come in and teach at Gastank MMA. Been a lot of great lessons and wrestling from them. Kids are picking up so much from all this. Excited to see it used in competition eventually. Thank you kiddos for choosing to wake up early and to get after it! Catch you on the mats.

Yesterday was a great first day of camp. Kids learned a lot and were having a blast. Nick taught so much, I learned so much more about wrestling myself. Nick is a wrestling genius. He showed a lot of drills and spar wrestling to the kiddos. They were definitely wore out at the end of the day.

Today we have Coach Prozanski. She won two state titles with Milan, was a two-time All-American at the USGWA girls National Championships, and was a placewinner at the USA wrestling freestyle National Championships. Wrestled at Campbellsville University. Placed fourth at body bar U.S. Women's Nationals. She will be going over freestyle, which I believe carries over best to MMA fighting. Excited to have her in, don’t miss out.

First day of Gastank Wrestling camp! Beyond excited and blessed. Wrestling was my first combat sport I fell in love with. Wrestling is one of the most important combat sports in cage fighting, proved time and time again.

Today we have coach Nick South teaching. Nick has dedicated his whole life to this sport. He has won two Indiana state championships. He went on to wrestle all of his college career at IU. Here recently Nick has won 2 MMA fights, finishing both fights with dominating wrestling and finding the submissions. He fights august 1st against another undefeated fighter, winner gets a title shot. Very proud of Nick and blessed to have him apart of the Gastank MMA family. Catch him on the mats!

Gastank Wrestling Club has its first camp starting tomorrow. I’m very excited to be in a room full of great wrestling minds all week. Gonna be a lot of hard work and fun!

Teaching a couple days, we will have Coach Nick South. Multiple time Indiana state champion, former IU wrestler, undefeated title contender MMA fighter.

Teaching the other couple days will be Coach Prozanski. She won two state titles, was a two-time All-American at the USGWA girls National Championships, and was a placewinner at the USA wrestling freestyle National Championships. She went on to wrestle at Campbellsville University, and was a three-time WCWA Academic All-American and a two-time Mid-South Conference Academic All-American. She also placed fourth at body bar U.S. Women's Nationals She has 8 years of coaching experience, head coach of Columbus north girls wrestling, during which she has coached three state meet placewinners and thirteen state qualifiers.

Also one day we will have coach Olds and his ladies from Columbus East in to teach. Coach Olds was one of the most winningest wrestlers from Jennings county, placing 3rd in Indiana state. He has gone on to become an even better coach. Coaching multiple state champions. Also winning coach of the year, much deserved.

Blessed to have all these coaches in. Excited to pick at their brain. We will also have special guest coaches in throughout the week. Start time is 10am, lunch time 12:30-1:30, end time 4pm. We will still have evening jiujitsu/Muay Thai classes 5-8pm if anyone wrestler wants to join at no extra cost. Don’t miss out on a week full of combat sports at Gastank MMA. Catch you on the mats!

Congrats to Peyton on racking up a ton of medals today. He hit over the 50 win mark today at the Tennessee FUJI. He started only 1 year ago and has competed all over the USA since. Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, etc. Very proud of him and blessed to have him represent the gym as well as he does. Keep it up lil savage! You can be sure to catch him on the mats.

Killer classes yesterday! Proud of all the hard work being put in. We had a 10th planet purple belt in, had a great time with him. He showed some technique that plays into my game. I love how this sport brings people together. Appreciate all you savages coming in. Catch you on the mats!

Gastank Wrestling Club camp starting Monday. Gonna be Monday thru Friday 10am-4pm with 1 hour break in middle. Lunch will not be provided, but there are plenty of food options within walking distance of the gym. For current Gastank MMA members the week will be $150. For non-members it will be $250 for the week or $60 a day. We have heavy credential coaches in all week to teach, we also have a lot of special guests coaches coming in to help out. If you are a wrestler truly trying to get better, then you won’t miss out on this great opportunity to be in a room full of great wrestling minds. Catch you all on the mats!

Kyle and Nick both at it again already! Winning these fights puts them both up for title shots. Very excited for them. The grind never stopped, they went right back into fight camp after their last fights ended. August 1st, youre not going to wanna miss out. Until then, you can be sure to catch them on the mats.
