Great Day of Panther Football Today! The annual Blue White Community Football Day started off with our flag football kiddos hitting the gridiron for the first time this season! Then, our High School Staff & Players got the opportunity to work with all tackle players grades 3-8, concluded with some intrasquad scrimmages!

Thank you to all who braved the heat, came out to Panther Stadium, and showed support for our K-12 Football Program! Our Panthers all hit the ground running this week for official season games!

FLAG FOOTBALL CANCELLED 8/1 DUE TO WEATHER

Unfortunately, the weather does not look promising for today's Flag Football. In review of 5 different weather sources (hourly & radar), thunderstorms and rain appear to be present from 7a through after 11a. With this, we have decided to cancel today's flag football activities. While this is not ideal, and weather can be unpredictable, with travel times and safety in mind, we wanted to make this decision as early as we could this morning. We will see everyone next Saturday, 8/8, to kick off our 2026 season. Thank You.

As we approach tomorrow's opening day of Flag Football, we have the potential for inclement weather. Please see information below regarding weather impact on Flag Football.

For Flag Football, we will make decisions on cancellation at least 45 minutes before our scheduled time each date. So tomorrow, as we see how the weather will progress, a decision will be made by 8:15 am. If you do not receive a notification, then we are always on as scheduled. If we are forced to cancel, then you will receive a cancellation email, as well as a notification on the JCYF page.

Weather Guidelines for Flag Football 2026;
- Light Drizzle to Sprinkling Rain = Continue as Scheduled
- Consistent to Heavy Rain = Likely Cancellation (with a likely reschedule added to schedule)
- Storms producing heavy winds and/or lightning = Cancellation
- Decisions made 45 minutes prior or as soon as possible to assist with travel

Reminder of our upcoming Annual Blue White Community Football Day! Next Saturday, 8/8 @ JCHS. All of Panther Football K-12 will be involved as usual.

Reminder that this Saturday, August 1st, is opening day for the 2026 Flag Football Season!

Upon arrival, please check in with the registration confirmation table at the stadium entrance. We will start at 9 am with a meeting for all parents, players, & approved Coaches in the Bleachers. This will be a brief, informative discussion, where we will share the flag football season approach, announce teams, and lead into beginning our season. After the meeting, we will break off into the teams, and allow practice time for each group. We will conclude with playing 2 flag football games per team.

We look forward to kicking off the 2026 Flag Season!

If you still need to pay registration fees, I will be set up and available from 8:30-8:55.

Sign Ups for the 2026 Season are now closed as of 7/10 & Teams are set! You should have received an email this afternoon with extensive information. Please check your email and contact [email protected] if you did not receive.

Now that information has been sent out, we have some exciting news for our JCYF Tackle Teams for both 3rd/4th & 5th/6th! Our future Panthers get the opportunity to play at Lucas Oil Stadium this August! More information was shared in the email. Please purchase your tickets asap for this event!
