Labor Day Kentucky Velvet Buck! 🦌🏹

Road Crew member Patrick Paysinger was blessed with this giant Kentucky velvet 10-point!

After getting this buck on his Browning trail cameras, Patrick decided to make the drive up to Kentucky and hunt him. He hunted Sunday evening, but neighbors riding motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs on the nearby roads kept the deer out of the beans and pushed the buck farther back on the farm.

After debating all morning Monday about where to hunt, Patrick decided to go back to the front bean field where the buck had been showing up.

About an hour before sunset, a doe and fawn stepped out into the field. It wasn’t long before they suddenly took off running—and then the big 10-point stepped out!

Patrick immediately drew back and made a perfect 25-yard shot. The buck ran about 50 yards before piling up in the beans!

Congrats, Patrick, on an awesome Kentucky velvet buck!

FIRST GOOSE!

Seth Critcher was blessed to take his first goose while hunting with his father, Jeremy, and friend Devon McGuire!

The guys had a great hunt and were blessed to take 4 geese altogether.

Nothing like making memories in the outdoors with family and friends!

🦌 BROWNING WHITETAIL WEDNESDAY! 📸

Trail Camera Tip: Put your cameras on fence gaps, crossings, and trails leading into fields.

These Browning Trail Camera pictures were taken on a field edge, with the camera pointed toward a man-made gap in a 5-strand barbed wire fence. You can see this buck using the gap as he makes his way into the cornfield.

Creating and monitoring natural funnels like this can help you learn where and how deer are entering your food sources.
