Bittersweet Ridge Disc Golf is located in North Yarmouth at 383 Gray Rd., Rt. 115, and consists of two 18 hole courses. The terrain is wooded with well groomed fairways and challenging basket placement. Concrete Tee pads and Discatcher Baskets too.

Congrats to our Maine TC team for grabbing a win to start the season against a very strong Team Sabattus. Quaker 2 and Ledgewood for November and December, should be a fun time.

🏆Maine States 2026 is a wrap, what a weekend!

I’m sure by now you have heard that Miles Sayer PDGA #91543 and Brooks secured a spot in the USDGC with two amazing performances over the weekend. Sayer went on to break Harry Chaces course record on the Bitterside shooting a -14(49) which set him up for the final round on the Patriot. Miles went on to win the tournament and the community here couldn’t be more proud of the kid, his efforts and practice rounds at these courses have finally paid off. Landon ended up finishing on the podium averaging 1025 during the event and securing his spot by 1 stroke! Shoot a comment below wishing these two young phenoms best of luck as they tackle one of the most prestigious events of the year down at Winthrop Golds.

📣We must shoutout Hanna Huynh, not only did she take down the tournament in FPO but she also hit two aces in her warmup rounds days before the event. Hole 5 Bitterside AND Hole 8 on the patriot. I am claiming that might be the first ace ever on hole 8 of the patriot, do you know or have heard of any other aces on that hole? Let me know in the comments.

🥇Tyler Cook and Shea got the birdies going early and they coasted to an 11 down victory over the 8️⃣1️⃣ player field!

Several CTPs were donated by Sonny Malloy, Lerch, D Train🚂, Bob Crowley, Steve Dee, Haven, and Adam C! Thank you all for your generous donations.

🎯The most notable CTP of the night was won By Mike Spinney, a package of Kraft mac N cheese accompanied by a package of hot dogs.

🎯Honorable mention: D train donated a disc golf bag and Jared Girardin pinned it for his second time winning a bag on hole 8.

Again thank you all so much for making the effort to being part of Maine States this year. One more quick shoutout to the outdoor crew at BSR who put in a huge effort over the last year getting lots of trees removed from fairways and a metric s**t ton of w**d whacking and mowing. 🏆Maine States has never seen a back to back repeat winner in the MPO field. With Andrew Marwede in the field he has the chance to make this happen!! Who is your pick to win? We have seen a lot over the years at Maine States including:

▪️Harry Chaces 1054 -12(51) course record on the Bitterside in 2024
▪️James Proctors 1084 -15(47) course record on the Patriot in 2024, in my opinion will hold until the end of time.
▪️Andrew Marwedes 1056 -11(56) course record on the daunting Commader.

Will we see a local come from behind win this year? We have seen Matt Bell over the years in contention, is this his year? With Borzick, Clemons, Sayer, Debo, Seeley, Brooks, Brandt, Gillis, and RJ in the field I feel like it’s anybody’s title this year.

Got to shoutout Sayer and Rueben Hagen for the unofficial course record (50) on the Bitterside.

Thank you to the 5️⃣2️⃣ players that showed up for dubs last night🫶 it was great to see some old and new faces in the mix, here’s how it all played out.

The one night KP shows up from Vermont and LaPerle was workin, come on.

🥇Miles freakin Knight gets the elusive 3peat last night as him and Matt Kennedy destroyed the course in 20 mph sustained winds beating the field by 3 strokes. They were one of two teams to get the 2 on hole 18(shoutout Otto/Lucier). Perfect front 9 mixed with some impressive birdies on the back 9 yielded a -13(41) good for $182! How you look them apples?

🥈Chris Sheas first dubs back after his trip to the pdga world championships, of course he got on the podium. Wouldn’t have been without the dimes Ryan Sullivan was droppin out there last night as he cleaned up on CTPs. -10(44) good for $108

🥉We had a two team tie for 3rd place netting 18 bones a piece. Jerry Davis/Lerch and Tyler Cook/Jonah aka Jonasty! This was Jonah’s debut dubs and he didn’t disappoint, we will be seeing and hearing more about Jonah in the future, count on it.

❓What’s your favorite part of the game?
Hanging out with friends and getting to watch how they navigate the courses. Another favorite is playing new courses blind.

❓What is your best round?
I don’t think I have an answer for what my best round was, but one of my favorite rounds was the first holiday dubs I hosted. It brought out 60 players in the middle of winter.

❓Top 5 courses: in no particular order

1)BSR, one of the first places I played dubs and saw how awesome the dg community is.

2) DR disc golf, first place I started at, both courses are great!

3)Campbell Highlands, great low key course

4) Maple Hill

5) Peak one DG out in Frisco CO, probably one of the most visually stunning courses I’ve played.

Here’s how it all played out:

🥇🥈Getting to the time of year where we are losing daylight, that being said a couple teams pushed for a tie at -13(41)! Travis Phillips/Miles Knight and Corey Boutin/Tyler Cook. Both teams shot an incredible -8(19) on the front nine and flip flopped a few holes on the back for -5s resulting in the tie and a $200 split! Some epic putts from both teams last night.

🥉Two way split for 3rd place podium with 4x Scott Walsh/Otto-matic and Kennedy/Riley Lucifer both poppin off -11(43). Shoutout to Walsh for chaining out of hole 13 and smackin the top band
On hole 9 to finish the round. AND, Otto for chaining out of hole 15 with a turnover flick of the tee. Insane shots gentlemen.

⛳️Hole 1- Mystery CTP donated by Lerch (can of green giant creamed corn) won by Matt Kennedy with an absolute dime under the bucket.

⛳️Hole 2- Scratchies donated by Lerch and won by the businessman Jerry Davis.

⛳️Hole 4- McDonalds BBQ sauce donated by Mike Bedard, won by Morley and gifted to Matt Kennedy to add to his creamed corn case a dillas!

⛳️Hole 6- Progressice cash reached a whopping $30. Corey Boutin put it to 4 feet but Ryan Clavette said hold my b**r as he put it within a disc length of the pole!

⛳️Hole 16- Scratchie donated by Steaks and won by Clavette! Up to $30,000 winner, I wonder if it hit?

📣A lot of almost aces last night but no dice, we roll it over to next week!

Beautiful day to play some golf, come on over the courses are lookikng great as we make out final push before Maine States, exciting stuff!
