Each year DancEd showcases 2 versions of the same story ballet with different casts. A few days ago we created a cool time lapse video taken from a catwalk in Show 2 of our 2026 recitals. Today we created a NEW time lapse video taken from the stage during Show 1, it's different but equally awesome. We have more to say in the comments, ENJOY!!!

We've been thinking about the Ballet Show 2 time lapse video & had an idea. We'll work on it & share to FB later today, here's a hint...

We have a fun new video to share, a time lapse of the Show #2 story ballet. Many years ago we had this idea and we thought it was time to do it again, so we ran a wideangle camera up to the catwalk at the NSCPA and sped the entire ballet up around 10x to fit into one song. This is the same song we used years ago because we think it's beautiful and can't improve on it. DancEd Dancers, we've loved you all our lives. ENJOY!!!

IT'S HAPPENING...!
Going For Gold! recital performance videos have been uploaded to a special DancEd Recital Show page, and after minor tweaks will soon be available to view AND download! In addition, 2000 (!!!) pics from dress rehearsal & recital shows have also been added to the DancEd Photos page at DancEd.com! WOW!!! Full disclosure time. Over the past week anyone at DancEd who would post recital pics has been on a much anticipated family trip. That vacation culminated tonight with Ms. Tracy making a surprise appearance at a 50 Year Anniversary Alumni Party at the dance studio where she grew up - Pinnell Dance Centre in Columbus, Ohio. We've shared photos of Tracy with Jeri here before, but trust us when we say that Jeri Pinnell changed Tracy's life growing up - And by extension, many of your lives too. CONGRATULATIONS ON 50 YEARS JERI, YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!

Recital photos are coming...

In case you're wondering... The process of choosing recital photos each year (& after every major DancEd performance) is for Scott to go through all the pictures and choose the ones that he likes. Then he removes a bunch after realizing that 20 of them are of the same dancer, and after that Ms Tracy or Ms Bre look at what's left to make sure they pass the All-Important Dance Teacher Eye Test. (no pointed toes? Unfavorite!). This takes a while, and we're working through that now. They're Coming Soon, we promise they will be worth the wait...!!!
