Our troop is doing a scout swim event on May 30, and we are looking for a swimming or lifesaving Merit badge Councilor to assist (one of our regulars is not available)

Alternatively, could use a lifeguard or someone to help with swim tests.
Event Runs 12-4 at the Northfield middle school.

Troop 313 spent the weekend at Whitewater SP and broke into 3 groups to do some hiking, fishing, and exploring. We braved the rain that came through. We all had a good time, and the only complaint was the cold on and off rain and overnight storms, and a wet tent or two. But a lot of fun. Definitely would do it again!

Troop 313 will be hosting two scout swim events this spring, Saturdays April 25 and May 30, 2026.
Both events will be from 12-3:30pm but often merit badges finish earlier.
Merit badges start at 12pm All other options begin around 12:45pm
We will offer swimming and lifesaving merit badges, mile swim, Cub Scout swimming adventures, Scouts BSA swimming rank requirements, and summer camp swim tests.
This will be held at the Northfield Middle School 2200 Division St S, Northfield, MN

We are also looking for Swimming and Lifesaving merit badge councilors to help with the events

Please register and pre pay at least 1 week before the event.
