We have a busy week here at Northlake Shooting Sports hosting some great events.

On Thursday afternoon, we have a private corporate event on the Federal Course.

Friday, we are proud to host the 2nd Annual Longhorn Council Sporting Clays For Scouting. What a great day this will be raising money benefiting Local Scouts. Registration is still open so grab a team and support a great organization.

Saturday we will be hosting a double header; the NSCA Regional Warm Up / Buckle Race #6 and SCTP will bring the International Fall Open, iSkeet on Saturday and Bunker Trap on Sunday.

There will be several course closures for these events but we will have most disciplines available to the public thru out the weekend.

We hope everyone has been enjoying Dove Season and getting plenty of time in the field! Now it’s time to start turning our attention back to the course because Regional Warm Up / Buckle Race #6 is just around the corner!
Join us Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Northlake Shooting Sports for a full day of NSCA Sporting Clays competition, great targets, good food, and plenty of fun with fellow shooters.
And we’re excited to have Jason Menke setting the targets! You can expect challenging, fun targets that will help you get dialed in and ready for the upcoming Regional competition.

🎯 Beretta Course – 100 Targets
🎯 Federal Course – 100 Targets
🎯 Super Sporting – Lakeside Course – 50 Targets
🎯 5 Stand – 50 Targets

We are looking for a few more volunteers at our upcoming Christ's Haven Clay Shoot on Saturday, August 22. Volunteers ages 16+ are needed to help at the Pull Stations on the course at Northlake Shooting Sports. You will assist with clay target launches and ensure participant safety.
