Training time with Lasher Sensei.
Tonight’s focus: Kumijo. Lasher Sensei is nage, and I have the privilege of serving as uke, providing committed attacks to help refine timing, distance, connection, and intent. Every exchange is an opportunity to deepen understanding.
Grateful for the opportunity to train together. No matter how long you’ve practiced, there’s always something more to learn.
Train. Refine. Repeat.

Hot Aikido 🥵🥋
The dojo started class at 93°F last night.
Fans running, plenty of water breaks, and a lot of movement.
We worked through tai sabaki from tsuki, added a new sixth movement into practice, and applied the movements into kokyunage and men-nage variations.
Even in the heat, training stays focused, safe, and fun.
And yes… we still had our regular social afterward.
