Football: Five Falcon players earn All-State honors After a season where the Cerritos College football team qualified for the Southern California Regional Playoffs, and ended the year ranked #9 in the state, four of their players were named All-State.

The Cerritos College men's basketball team saw their winning streak come to an end with a 1-point loss to San Diego Miramar College, 58-57. Falcons (11-3) travel to LA Trade-Tech College next Monday.

W. Soccer: Jenna Santos first Falcon to make four-year decision After two seasons where she was named 1st Team All-South Coast Conference South Division, Cerritos College women's soccer player Jenna Santos is the first to make their four-year decision.

The Cerritos College men's soccer team received another national award, as Benny Artiaga and his coaches were selected as the United Soccer Coaches National Staff of the Year among Division III (non-scholarship) community colleges.

Soccer: It's official: Coaching staff receives nation's highest honor In a magical season that culminated with the Cerritos College men's soccer team winning the 3C2A State Championship, being named National Champions and having the nation's Player of the Year, the coaching staff was just announced as the top staff in the country.

Led by Kamaury Washington and his 21 points, the Cerritos College men's basketball team defeated East Los Angeles College, 74-70 on Wednesday night. The Falcons will play two games at MiraCosta College next week.

M. Basketball: Falcons hold on for win over East LA, 74-70 In a game where the Cerritos College men's basketball team opened a n 18-point second half lead, they were able to hold on for a 74-70 win over visiting East Los Angeles College on Wednesday.

Gustavo Arias, who helped lead the Cerritos College men's soccer team to the 3C2A State Championship, as been named the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Year. He's the second Falcons player to ever receive this honor.

M. Soccer: Staff named National Coaching Staff of the Year On the heels of their fifth 3C2A State Championship and second United Soccer Coaches National Championship, the Cerritos College men's soccer coaching staff has received the highest national award.

At the 3C2A State Championships this weekend, the Cerritos College wrestling team had two individual champions, while the team finished in 2nd place. Sean Otero (149 pounds) and Abraham Galicia (174 pounds) both won state titles for the Falcons.

Wrestling: Cerritos finishes in 2nd Place at 3C2A State Championships Sending 11 entries to the 3C2A State Championships at Sierra College over the weekend, the Cerritos College wrestling team posted their best finish since 2021, as they came in second place overall.

The Cerritos College men's basketball team defeated three opponents this weekend to win the championship of the SBCC/ECC Holiday Classic. It's the second tournament title of the season for the Falcons, who will host East LA College at 5pm on Wednesday.

M. Basketball: Cerritos wins second tournament of the season Looking for their second tournament championship of the season, the Cerritos College men's basketball team posted three wins to accomplish the feat over the weekend.

In the semifinals of the SBCC/ECC Holiday Classic, the Cerritos College men's basketball team defeated Santa Barbara City College, 67-60. Falcons will face LA Valley in the finals at 5pm on Saturday.

After the first day of the 3C2A State Championships, the Cerritos College wrestling team is in second place with 79.5 team points. They still have nine active entries, with six of them advancing to the semifinals. The second day of the tournament will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and is taking place at Sierra College.
