To our SonomaFIT Novato Community,
We want to share a brief but important clarification as we continue working to secure our next SonomaFIT location.
All fitness equipment currently located at the former Novato facility remains the property of SonomaFIT. No sale, transfer, or authorization for use of this equipment has ever occurred.
This means that the business currently operating in that space is doing so using SonomaFIT-owned equipment without authorization. Members utilizing the facility are training on SonomaFIT equipment.
To prevent confusion and to protect what belongs to SonomaFIT and its community, we have taken steps to clearly notify all parties of this ownership.
Our focus remains on moving forward responsibly, securing a new location, protecting the integrity of SonomaFIT, and keeping our members informed with accurate information.
We truly appreciate your patience and continued support during this transition. Additional updates will be shared as soon as they are available.
Sonoma FIT - Built on Truth

Sonoma Fit Novato - my good bye
I don’t know how to make this easy to say.
Sonoma Fit became my work long before it became a place. It lived in my thoughts, in my routines, and in the way my days were shaped around it. I gave it my time, my focus, and a part of myself that only people who build something on their own truly understand.
Sonoma Fit Novato came from that same commitment.
For more than two years, I worked on this location with care and intention. Every choice mattered. Every detail carried responsibility. I sacrificed financially, personally, and emotionally not because I had to, but because I believed in what I was building.
There is a kind of work small business owners do that rarely gets noticed. The quiet responsibility. The constant pressure. The way you carry everything yourself, even when no one is watching. I accepted that work fully, and I carried it with pride.
Letting go of this chapter has been deeply painful. Accepting that this is where it ends is something I still struggle to put into words. When you build something from the ground up, it becomes a part of you. Saying goodbye is leaving a piece of yourself behind.
This ending didn’t come from lack of effort or belief. I stayed with Sonoma Fit Novato for as long as I could, until circumstances beyond my control left me with no responsible path forward.
Not because it failed, but because sometimes even the deepest commitment cannot change what has been forced.
As I move forward, I do so with gratitude for my wife, Heather, She stood beside me through the hardest moments, watching me lose everything I had built without ever losing faith in who I am.
Novato, this is a forever goodbye, and it’s a pain I know I will carry with me always.
ALWAYS REMEMBER:

This year has brought difficult and unexpected changes, including the sudden temporary closure of my Sonoma Fit Novato club. I fought hard to build it and even harder to keep it open.
Today marked my final day in court related to this matter, involving circumstances I never believed would exist or even be possible. My request to keep the club operating while I sought the opportunity to be meaningfully heard was denied.
While I remain deeply concerned about the fairness of the process, I am committed to moving forward with integrity, resilience, and a continued focus on the Sonoma Fit community.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as I navigate a difficult time.
As the holidays are here, my wife and I wish everyone a happy and restful holiday season.
