My longest run in many months and the first pain free non awkward feeling run in nearly a year. Took a few breaks to photograph some of the nature scenes at Kensington along the way too.

Spent this beautiful Saturday morning with at least 150+ people volunteering for the Catholic Charities of Detroit. We worked with the Sleep Heavenly Peace to prepare various sizes of hundreds of pieces of lumber to result in 50 new beds for kids who do not have a bed in our area. I spent most of the morning working with an orbital sander to smooth the wood, remove splinters, and prep the wood for staining, by others in the group.

The Running Architect client Alison running strong this morning at the Ann Arbor Half Marathon!

It was Alison's first half marathon and she absolutely nailed it as we say!

He goal was to run a bit better than an 8 minute pace as she ran thru the campus of The University of Michigan and relived her memories as a student there.

She exceeded her expectations overcoming a tough race route and taking 2nd place in her very competitive Age Group!

Her 1:41 HM also represented the 9th of 511 women runners and 69th of 991 overall !!

Charlie sprints strong to the finish placing 4th of over 200 runners with a time of 17:58 over a very rugged 5K XC route running for South Lyon HS. Amazing 🤩
