Thank you to our sponsors.
There's a lot of coordination involved in running a softball organization like ours. There are the coaches, players, parents, photographers, videographers and more. Some of the unsung heroes are our sponsors that allow us to do fun extra things with our teams.
Many of these companies are local companies in and around the St. Louis/St. Charles area. If you find yourself needing a plumber, insurance, food, car repair, towing, pest control AND MORE. Please consider giving one of these local business a shot. They are investing in our organization and we should do the same.
Thank you! Please tag the businesses so we can share the love!

Happy Coachโs Day to all of our coaches!! We are thankful for all of you.
National Coaches Day began in 1972 when then President Richard M. Nixon signed a proclamation establishing October 6th as the day to celebrate those who serve as coaches in all sports.

As a pitcher, I know that our catchers are often forgotten and all of the glory goes to the pitchers or big hitters of the game. Rarely do you hear about the catchers. We have multiple catchers and they are working hard. Two of those young ladies caught Sundayโs games. Leah W and Maddie A took it to another level on Sunday. We have been working on framing, getting our pitchers to hit their spots and teaching them to push the pitchers when they get in to trouble. One of the reasons our pitchers had so many strikeouts this past weekend is because of how well the catchers were framing the ball and setting up on the corners. The light bulbs are turning on and itโs awesome to watch. Keep putting in the work ladies. ๐๐ฅ๐

Shout out to our pitching staff that threw on championship Sunday. Kaleah K and Avery C both threw complete games, hitting their spots and mixing up their pitches with fastballs and change-ups. Kaleah threw the semi-final game allowing 1 Hit / 0 Runs / 9 Kโs. Avery C threw the champion-ship game allowing 4 Hits / 5 Runs / 12 Kโs. Kaleah had 14 Ks and Avery C had 22 Ks for the weekend. These two ladies put in the work and their softball IQ allows them to take their ability to another level. Congrats ladies! Hard work and determination are paying off!

Congrats to our home run hitters from the weekend! Emma F had one no doubter grand slam and a homer, Kaleah led off our championship game with a bomb down the right field line adding to her running totals, and Amelia hit her first ever homerun with a shot over right field. Keep putting in the work! ๐๐ฅ๐

Midland 10U-Reynolds went 4-0 on the weekend. First ever kid pitch tourney for most of them. Each game our girls improved. Our pitching and catching were lights out. Our hitting finally busted out and the girls showed us what they could do. We had four legit homeruns, with one being a grandslam and numerous extra base hits. We ran the bases better and we were moving and breaking things down on the infield. Keep working hard! We are so very proud!

We hit the ground running mid August. The girls have been working hard. We learned right away that there is a BIG difference between first and second year 10U teams and that we had to put in some extra work. We started out in league going 0-2 and quickly made some adjustments working on urgency and just the overall speed of the game. A couple weeks later we won two league games making us 2-2. We continued to put in the work and push the girls out of their comfort zone. This weekend we played our first 10U tourney. Each game we got better and better in every aspect of the game! The girls continue to amaze us with their growth and drive. This weekend we went 4-0 beating a team for the championship that smashed us the first game of the year. We still have so much to learn, but we are moving in the right direction!! ๐๐ฅ๐

Itโs been a terribly hot week which meant no outdoor practices. So we took it inside for some โChalk Talkโ. We worked on signs, bunt plays, cuts, drop third stike, and our hitting drill homework. It was a lot of new learning that required some deep thinking after a long school day, but they put in the work!! Proud of them.
