Hey folks! Wanted to call out a number of quality-of-life enhancements to https://PEGTTour.com, like better mobile navigation, cleaner leaderboard formatting, and better player pages (like recent matches showing first!).

Oh yeah...and DARK MODE...

• DARK MODE TOGGLE NOW AVAILABLE SITE-WIDE!

🏆 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦
• 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗘: Redesigned the table to fit all five courses without horizontal scrolling. Rank and total now sit above centered player names, with course logos, compact controls, and fewer secondary statistics.
• 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗧𝗢𝗣: Improved spacing with a centered layout capped at 1200px, centered player names, consistent rank typography, course logos, and sortable columns.
• 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟: Added gold/purple/pink ranking groups, current-leader and main-cut summaries, standings by completed course, configured course ordering, and automatic updates every two minutes.

• 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗘: Added swipeable single-round navigation, compact match cards, clearer round selection, and winner/loser navigation. Removed connector lines and unnecessary labels and controls.
• 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗧𝗢𝗣: Hover over a match to see a pop-up with more details. Improved match connectors and progression between winner/loser brackets, simplified headers, and removed the line legend and RESULTS buttons.
• 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟: Added an interactive champion-card celebration with layered fireworks, keyboard support, and reduced-motion support.

👤 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦
• 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗘: Improved the biography layout with collapsible bio details and compact match-history cards. Match and qualifying histories remain vertically stacked.
• 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗧𝗢𝗣: Placed match history and qualifying history side by side and removed unrelated sidebar content.
• 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟: Improved history ordering, win/loss filtering and styling, completion timestamps, sudden-death labels, qualifier rankings, and links to full statistics. Overview histories now show the latest ten results, and unrelated promotional sections have been removed.

🎉 BIG PEGT TOUR NEWS — THE MISSOURI OPEN HAS A NEW HOME! 🎉

We are VERY excited to announce that the 2027 MISSOURI OPEN has a new home! ⛳🔥

📍 HOTSHOTS SPORTS BAR & GRILL — WENTZVILLE, MO
📅 April 29 – May 2, 2027
💰 $8,000 ADDED

Hotshots Wentzville is located in the St. Louis area and is only about a 25-minute Uber ride from the airport. ✈️🚗
And this location checks A LOT of boxes for us.

🏨 There are literally two hotels in the same parking lot, and I’ve already started working on getting a hotel block established for the event. There are also several other hotels nearby, along with plenty of Airbnb options.

⛳ There are some very nice real golf courses nearby, so those of us who like to get out and play during tournament weekends will have some new options. It’ll be good to change things up!

🥩 There’s even a steakhouse in the parking lot, plus plenty of other restaurants nearby if you want to get out for a meal. That said, the food at Hotshots is great too.

🍺 And most importantly — this place is HUGE. Great layout, tons of room, two patios, and a staff that is accustomed to handling very large crowds. It gives us a lot of flexibility as we continue to grow the Missouri Open.

Some of you will remember that years ago we actually held the Missouri Open at Hotshots in St. Charles. We eventually outgrew that location and had to move on. This newer Wentzville Hotshots location is a completely different animal — the place is tremendous, and we think it is going to work extremely well for us.

Of course, finding a new home also means saying goodbye to The Funny Bone. Matt Behrens and his crew were great to us, and we truly appreciate them stepping up for PEGT and our players. ❤️ They supported our event and helped us continue to grow. Ultimately, though, we felt we had simply outgrown that location as well, and it was time to find a venue that gives us more room for where the Missouri Open is headed.

We will most likely return for the CAROLINA CLASH during the first weekend of October, but we want to wait until the football schedule is announced in December before making that official. 🏈

I spoke with the owner of the bar today. They are already preparing for us and are excited to have everyone back for Year Two at that location.
His exact words to me today:
“I wish we could do this more than once a year.”
That’s about as good of an endorsement of the PEGT players as you can get. 👊
I’m confident Texas will be back in a similar time frame for 2027, but we’ll sit down with them while we’re there this December and get everything confirmed.

It’s exciting watching the 2027 PEGT Tour take shape. As the PEGT Tour continues to grow, we’re always looking for locations that can accommodate our events and provide a great experience for our players, spectators, and host venues. We think Hotshots Wentzville is going to be a great fit for the Missouri Open moving forward.
And I think we found exactly that in Wentzville.
