From honoring our veterans to achieving individual excellence, our St. Dominic musicians had an eventful weekend!

Congratulations to the 15 band students who performed at Friday's MIA/POW ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Walk in O'Fallon, and to freshman Sophia O’Shea for earning a spot in the All-District Orchestra!

It was a HOT one this morning at Rush fields, but our girls toughed it out to a 4-2 win 💪. Shoutout to our player of the match, Morgan! Her solid defensive play and decision making after winning the ball helped us win the possession game and counter quickly. Awesome work, Morgan!

Player of the Game for our first match goes to one of our new captains, Caitlin! Her relentless work down the wing helped contain their attack, and her clever reading of the space put her in the perfect position to finish off Cassidy’s cross and tie up the game. Way to go, Caitlin!

Shoutout to our new team captains: Sophia and Caitlin. I chose them for their awesome work ethic and attitude, and their ability to make new players feel like they belong. As a team with a lot of new faces I felt it was important to have these attributes in our captains. Morgan is going to share her experience as a team leader and help them acclimate to their new roles
