🚴 LAST 6:00 PM TUESDAY NIGHT RIDE! 🚴

The days are getting shorter, which means tonight is our final Tuesday night ride with a 6:00 PM start.

🌅 With sunset coming earlier, headlights and taillights are strongly encouraged tonight. Even if we plan to be back before dark, being visible is always a good idea.

⏰ Starting next Tuesday, we roll at 5:30 PM!

🚲 Cyclists usually learn one of two ways: the easy way…or the hard way.

What’s one cycling lesson you had to learn the hard way?

Maybe it was forgetting to eat on a long ride.
Trusting that tiny patch of gravel in a corner.
Leaving home without a spare tube.
Going way too hard in the first 20 miles.
Or discovering that “I can probably get another 500 miles out of that tire” was not, in fact, true. 😂

🚴‍♀️💨 TODAY IN CYCLING HISTORY: 183.932 MPH… ON A BICYCLE.

On September 16, 2018, Denise Mueller-Korenek climbed aboard a specially designed bicycle at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah and did something that sounds completely impossible.

She rode a bicycle 183.932 mph (296.009 km/h). 🤯

Just for perspective…

At 183.9 mph, you're traveling the length of a football field in about 1.1 seconds.

On a bike. 😳 Imagine the KOMs...
