Welcome to PTA, Coach Braedon Blackford!⚾️

Currently the Head Baseball Coach at Brookfield East, Coach Blackford brings collegiate and professional playing experience to PTA. He earned First Team All-Horizon League honors at Purdue Fort Wayne and set the school’s single-season RBI record.

Blackford also played professionally in the MLB Draft League and Pioneer League, hitting .326 with 13 HR and 65 RBIs while helping lead his team to a league championship.

Entering his first season with PTA, Coach Kelly brings 10 years of high school coaching experience to the club. He spent nine seasons coaching at Cudahy High School before joining the St. Thomas More High School program for the 2026 season.

PTA Baseball is proud to welcome Coach Charles Gawle!

Coach Gawle brings 16 years of coaching experience and 14 years as a player, working with athletes ages 7–18 throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.

He currently serves as Head JV Coach at Hartford Union High School and Head Travel Coach for 17U PTA West. His players have gone on to compete at the D1, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, and professional levels, including three MLB Draft picks.

Coach Gawle emphasizes the process, teaching players to focus on what they can control and make the most of every pitch and rep.
