Oak Park Aikikai stands with www.metooaikido.com and has taken the pledge. No one should experience abuse or harassment in the dojo.
#metooaikido - build a movement
was created to bring awareness to all aikido practitioners about sexual harassment and sexual assault. Neilu Naini shares her personal story. Resources are available to help survivors, instructors, dojos, and organizations work towards creating safe training environments for all.

Birankai NY promotions have been announced, and many of our Midwest friends have been promoted! We can't wait until we can practice again!

Our Meghan McCoy is off to grad school in Boston. :( We sent her off with a socially-distant Tw***ie party after class in the park! (Why Tw***ies, you ask? Because each one is individually wrapped, and everyone could take their own Tw***ie out of the box.)
