We teach the Japanese martial art of aikido at Oak Park Aikikai.
Instructor Deb Pastors is a yondan (4th degree black belt) and a certified instructor (shidoin) with Birankai International. Housed within the Park District of Oak Park, Oak Park Aikikai is a dojo (training center) that teaches the traditional Japanese Martial Art of Aikido.

Oak Park Aikikai stands with www.metooaikido.com and has taken the pledge. No one should experience abuse or harassment in the dojo.
#metooaikido - build a movement was created to bring awareness to all aikido practitioners about sexual harassment and sexual assault. Neilu Naini shares her personal story. Resources are available to help survivors, instructors, dojos, and organizations work towards creating safe training environments for all.

Our Meghan McCoy is off to grad school in Boston. :( We sent her off with a socially-distant Tw***ie party after class in the park! (Why Tw***ies, you ask? Because each one is individually wrapped, and everyone could take their own Tw***ie out of the box.)
