If you know someone that is looking for a part-time job, check out the Building Supervisor/Custodian position that is open now. Here is a description: The Park District of Oak Park Gymnastics and Recreation Center is looking for a Building Supervisor/ Custodian. The hours are week day evenings from 5-10pm and weekends early morning and early evening shifts. The weekly schedule would be made up of three 5-6 hour shifts. Total weekly hours would be 15-18. The starting rate is $11 per hour. If you are hard-working , self-motivated and reliable then you are the person the Park District is looking for. To apply go to www.pdop.org . The job id # is 1109.

Sign up today! Prices are 35 per child or 30 per sibling of the same family!

WHO: Children in 1st grade or above. You don’t have to be a GRC student, so invite your friends!

WHAT: Games, all the Olympic events, pizza dinner, and loads of fun! We’ll get in our PJs and watch a movie just like a sleepover!

WHEN: Saturday, December 19th at 7:00 pm

The date for the Winter SleepUNDER is OUT! Sign up right away before we fill! There are only 60 spots available!

December 19th at 7:00 pm is drop-off, pick up is at 11:30 that same evening.

Great opportunity for a parents' night out!

Price is 35$ per child, or 30$ for 2 or more siblings

Registration must be done in person in order to fill out forms.

Thanos is part of the USAG Level 8 Boys team. He participated in the Regional Future Stars and Technical Sequence Evaluation at Bartlett Gymnasts this past Saturday. At this event Thanos qualified to the Future Stars National Championships which will be held November 12-15. Congratulations to Thanos and his Coaches Darion Knight and Patrick Murphy on this honorable accomplishment. Thanos is pictured all the way to the right in the attachment which was taken this past Saturday.

The Future Stars Program is an athlete development and education program. The Future Stars Program consists of six age groups 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 year olds who perform selected skills and compulsory routines on the six men’s events plus trampoline strength and flexibility evaluations. Thanos participated in the 12 year old division and scored the highest on Vault this past Saturday.
