We are incredibly excited to welcome Emery Lehman back to the Paul Hruby Ice Arena where his skating journey began! Join us July 7 from 7:00-9:00P to celebrate 4-time Olympian Emery and 3-time Olympian Mia Manganello on their 2026 Olympic appearance and success! Together over their Olympic careers, they have earned one silver and three bronze medals for speedskating.

Meet Emery and Mia, take photos, hear about their journey to Cortina Milano, view their Olympic medals up close, and enjoy open skating. There will even be a race between Emery, Mia, and our mascots Oakie and Parker! It's going to be a blast!

Enjoy some throwback pictures of when Emery visited us back in 2022 after winning a bronze medal in the Team Pursuit at the Winter Olympics in Beijing. We cannot wait to have him return and to meet Mia! 🏅

This is a free event but registration is required and spots are limited. Register here: app.amilia.com/store/en/park-district-of-oak-park/api/Activity/Detail?activityId=xELWnzz

If you have a nature loving kiddo, celebrate their birthday at Austin Gardens with a nature themed party. Our naturalists will guide you through fun hands-on artifact exploration (shells, furs, fossils, and more!) and nature themed crafts to help you have a truly wild birthday!

We've created our Nature & Adventure party package to make planning and hosting a breeze! With activities pre-planned, minimal set up and clean up needed on the day, and a dedicated staff to help with the event, parents can sit back and join the fun! Party packages include 2 hours of private party time with use of the main multipurpose room for food, cake, and gifts.

🎈 To find more information about booking your party, visit our website here: pdop.org/nature-adventure-birthday-parties
