Two things our Coach Cliff loves. U of I/Illini Football and Fenwick Wrestling. Today he got to see our man Jack Paris all suited up for the best of both worlds. As a long time season ticket holder, he'll be seeing Jack plenty 💪

What a dinner we all had. It's a pleasant treat when your seniors ask to have a dinner with the coaches before they depart for college. We ate, hung out and enjoyed the evening. Friars for life and we enjoyed the best Greek food in the city at the Athenian room

We had a WONDERFUL Friar Wrestling camp this week. It was for beginners looking to have some fun learning how to wrestle 💪 All our campers had a blast, learned from our high school team, and made some new friends too. It was our 1st one and Friar Wrestling looks forward to having one every summer 🤼‍♂️ GREAT job by all our campers and can't wait to see you on the mats again

A wonderful 2024/2025 banquet is in the books. Thank you to our senior moms and all our moms for making a great evening and setting the bar high for future banquets. The banquet signals that the season is really over, and it was an amazing year and so much to be proud of. Our seniors made it all 4 years and leave their program better and brighter than when they came in. We are very proud of the 2025 senior class, and they set the record with 13 seniors on the team. Fenwick Wrestling is a family. It was a night of laughs, tons of food, a whole table of sweets, tradition, Friar Pride, good times, and a senior class to be celebrated. The underclassmen look up to all you and will make you proud.

Aiden Burns and Jack Paris: MVP 2024/25 season

CJ Brown and Dominic Esposito: Most improved wrestler 24/25 season

Max in a Million Kenny: My Guy award 24/25 season

PatRICK Gilboy: Friar Excellence 24/25 season

The 2025 regionals are in the books. And the Friars wrestled great! We advanced 12 of 14 wrestlers onto sectionals. All 9 seniors in the lineup made it through, too! The Friar placed 2nd as a team in a tough regional. Beyond proud of the team. They showed some real grit this weekend 💪 Forward we go to sectionals

Congratulations to our man Jack Paris on signing with U of I for football and a bright future ahead. Jack is one of our team captains, one of many seniors, but the loudest one when the team needs to be pushed. Best of luck on the football field, but we still got work on the mat 💪 and we can see him every year at the state series now too 😀

Fenwick Wrestling had our conference tournament at Montini this past weekend. Our freshman team marched to OPRF for their tournament. The CCL is the toughest conference there is, and wrestling in the Chicago Catholic League is an honor. All friars wrestled great and represented Fenwick with Pride. Competition was the best action we could see headed towards regionals. Congratulations to Aiden Burns 2nd at 157lbs, Jack Paris 3rd at 190lbs, Dominic Esposito 175lbs, CJ Brown 113lbs, Eiam Staples 144lb and the man Solanus Daley 126lb all placing 6th place. Great job, Friars and onto regionals 💪
