Roger Federer was inducted to the International Tennis Hall of Fame yesterday.
I was honored to get a picture with him when played the River Oaks Invitational in 2000.
He lost in the finals that year, at 18 years of age ranked 50th at the time.
I knew he had the potential to become a great player, when I first saw him practice. He lost in the finals that year unfortunately.
He was so polished & polite to me when I asked him for a photo. Roger put his arm around me as well, which made that more special to remember him by.
He came back to Houston in 2003 & 2004 for the ATP FINALS, which he won both years in a row.
He was & is a CLASS ACT & my favorite player of all time.
