March is our birthday month, and we are celebrating our 39th year!! What a privilege it has been for Valley Oak School of Dance to serve the community of Oakdale for nearly four decades! It’s hard to believe so many years have passed, but we are grateful for each and every one of them! Grateful too, for the many young people who have walked through our doors to begin or continue their dance journey. Whether their duration of study and training at Valley Oak School of Dance was brief, or lasting for years, we count each student and the opportunity to work with them, a big beautiful blessing! So thank you, one and all, for being a part of VOSD and helping us reach such an incredible milestone!
We also want to thank you, our wonderfully supportive community, as well as Oakdale Chamber of Commerce. On Friday, February 27th, we attended the Chamber’s award ceremony as a nominee for Business of the Year. It was such an honor to be included and acknowledged, as well as share company with so many outstanding businesses and individuals of this thriving city we are all proud and pleased to serve. It was a most lovely evening, along with a very gracious nod towards VOSD. We couldn’t imagine a more thrilling, or more appreciated kick start to our celebration. Happy 39 years in business Valley Oak School of Dance!

Nothing says Valentine’s Day like dancing buddies, tired legs, big smiles, and a little love after a long rehearsal 💖 These girls put in so much time, energy, and heart into creating something special, and today we celebrated the hard work with a sweet Valentine exchange. So proud of them! 💌✨

Before the day is over we have to wish a very Happy Birthday to our incredible leader, mentor, and heart of our studio! Your kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication shine through everything you do. Teacher Leslie creates a space where dancers feel loved, supported, and inspired to be their very best—on and off the dance floor. We are so grateful for her guidance, passion, and the care she pours into each of us every day. Wishing you a birthday filled with the same love and joy you give so freely to others. We love you!!! 💕

Valley Oak School of Dance will be closed Monday 11/10 and Tuesday 11/11 in honor of Veterans Day. Classes will resume on Wednesday 11/12.

Valley Oak School of Dance will be participating in the Oakdale Christmas Parade this year! Be sure to check your email for more information. Don’t forget to fill out your permission slip by November 16th!
