Making more polespears and pole spear parts than ever before. đşđ¸
So far this year we have machined 1000 pounds of injector rods, 500 pounds of slip tips, and thousands of pounds of connectors and other fittings. Weâve chewed through thousands of feet of cable and spectra. And thousands of feet of power band material. Itâs all designed here, machined here, assembled here and enjoyed all over the world.
As we gear up for spring and summer, we just wanna say thank you to all our customers! Without you we would not be here.

Making some stainless steel jewelry for another production run of centerline and reefline polespears. This spear requires the tightest tolerances of anything weâve ever made before. Every part has to be perfect before it leaves the shop so that it will work flawlessly on someoneâs adventure. If you havenât seen how the sphere works go check out our YouTube channel. Or you can check out and his YouTube channel where he does some pretty wild product testing videos! These spears are built in limited batches and are available on our website.

Today we had this grom swing into the shop to look at some gear. I havenât seen someone this fired up about Spearfishing in a while. Its all he wants to do. But the best part was the story he told me. He was just paddle boarding off Singer Island and spotted a Speargun from the surface. He jumped in and recovered it and couldnât believe how lucky he was to finally have his first Speargun. Then he saw that the ownerâs name was on the gun and he decided to return it to the owner, and he was just as excited about doing that as he was about keeping it. Really made my day. Thanks for swinging by

We have sling shafts back in stock on the website. These 1/4â inch sling shafts are what started at all here at headhunter spearfishing. These are the shafts that have been used by recreational and commercial Spearfisherman in the bahamas for decades. They shoot far and fast and are an absolute laser beam. This is all I used for more than 10 years until I decided to start designing and improving polespears. But even after 20 years of polespear manufacturing, I still love going out and shooting one of these âflyersâ.

We make our equipment here in house, in the USA, and we are damn proud of it. To celebrate that, we are putting the finishing touches on our 2024 limited edition Independence Day Roller Nomads. We will be making 50 of these available on our website later this week. Youâll be able to choose between some custom colored parts to make your spear uniquely yours. More details to follow.

The concept seems simple. Figure out how to make it better, and then execute. The process, however, is a little more involved than that. It may start on the back of a napkin or as a sketch, but it takes countless prototypes, revisions, tests, failures, and lots of determination to see it through. What youâre looking at in this picture is a polespear. But itâs somewhat of a departure from the norm. Itâs a concept came up with and weâve been working with him to perfect. We started the patent process about a year and a half ago and this month we are one step closer to USPTO approval. Luke and I have been successfully landing wahoo and other pelagics with this spear for the past three years while making adjustments to the design to get it dialed in. The spear pictured was just custom built for a customer headed to Fiji this week looking for some sea monsters. This 12â spear was specifically designed for targeting large fish in remote locations. Itâs fully reinforced and you can break it in five places while still maintaining a solid connection from the slip tip to the floatline. It can be repaired in the field. It uses a 24â titanium injector rod. And it breaks down to 30 inches long and about 3 1/2 pounds. We call it the CENTERLINE. It will be a semi-custom spear that will only be available in limited quantities. Projects like this are what keep us excited about doing what we do. Stay tuned for more details.

crushed it today with this 79 lb black on his nomad. But the best part was that this fish came up from the bottom in 230 feet if water while chumming for wahoo!
