Need more baseball in your life? Come out and play some baseball! Everyone is welcome, extra gloves are available so if you don't have one don't worry.

We can play some catch, field some grounders and even get a game going if we have enough people!

Hi all,

The winter break from baseball continues because the sky is falling.

Keep an eye out for year-end report notices next week. I'll send each named person a redacted version of the report. If you have any comments on the report, or would like to be represented differently or not at all please let me know. If you don't respond to this request for consent to publish I'll remove references to your identity. To say it another way, participants must actively opt-in to identifying presence in the year-end report. I plan to publish the report in the first week of February.

Hi everyone. Come play some baseball with us at the park by the west entrance to the caldecott tunnel Sunday at noon. We have many extra gloves now, a ball bucket painted like a baseball, and a folding scoreboard.

The PBF 05/21/2022

Hi everyone, especially the newcomers. We'll be meeting at North Oakland Regional Sports Center at noon on Sunday, 5/22. I have a half dozen extra left- and right-handed fielding gloves for y'all to use now, so that's no reason to not show up.

And we've had some serious interest in graphics and website design so expect our outward representation to become more professional!

The PBF What's Going On

05/13/2022

Hey everyone, I hope your week was good.

Come out to baseball this Sunday at noon at the field by the caldecot tunnel. I've also managed to secure 15 tickets to the June 4 game against the Red Sox. It's a day game on a Saturday and if you show up this Sunday you will have a chance to sign up for a ticket. It's first-come first-served and the tickets cannot be used for fundraising.

We've had some interest in graphics design, social media presence, and brand image recently and I want to use this as a way to encourage all of you to build your careers or hobbies by contributing to the PBF organization. The work includes said branding and social media work, but also grantseeking and general operations. Bring your interest to games on Sunday if you'd like to contribute. Our budget is nonexistent still but it won't be forever.
