Our team program is the first climbing and adventure team of its kind; exploration is limitless! The Spectrum Adventure Team is a full inclusion adventure experience into the pedagogy of climbing and outdoor exploration for the spectrum of NeuroDiverse youth ages 11+. The weekly team program features nature-based immersion, play skills challenges, and social-emotional connection through rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, standup paddleboarding, horseback riding, bike riding, axe throwing, yoga, fitness training, outdoor immersion, overnight camping and so much more! We go beyond the label to cultivate organic, independent and sovereign experiences in limitless nature-based exploration and activities in the East Bay.

Spectrum Adventure Team practice immersed in nature-based adventures, fitness and fun meets 4:15p-5:30p weekly Tuesdays. Fall s2 module starting Nov 4 is earthbound discoveries of hiking, circuit training and biking.

Our adventures don't end because school starts! We have the best school for adventurers! The 13th season of TayloredFit Solutions Homeschool Rocks Adventure Course starts Sept 4. Only a few spots open to join this ongoing course for un/home/natural school and unique learners age 8+ meeting weekly Thurs 11a-12:30p at remote adventure locations in the E. Bay.

We bridge access to adventure in a safe, non judgement space. Welcoming to diverse learners and families. Sovereign joyful is limitless with our community! Indoor/outdoor rock climbing, kayaking, standup paddleboarding, hiking, ice/outdoor skating, park days, caving and axe throwing are just some of the activities this season.

When CIT ask for space, get her dog under control, she question who we were, calling us "nasty people" threatened to call police, stormed off.

Her fragility to our refusal to engage crossed the line.
This was a powerful threat to unleash on 9-Black kids. Protected activation set in to keep all safe, involving an escalation of authority to minimize an appearance of authority at camp site. Kids were drastically impacted rest of the day, on guard, absent of joy.

New external tools of support since the last huge incident of 2020: access to (comes at risk), support from Representative Moore a ring away. We have followed proper channels to document this incident.

Returning a week later, for a session leaning into the bravery of harm, another encounter took place last week. Parents asked if I wanted to resubmit to possible harm. Driven to make it better, I leaned into my fears, breaking through the fawning. Got there ahead of him, to settle voice into space. I was able to record some of her typical interjecting interrogation, dancing dog around 2 climbers attempting to set up. They asked about sharing space, as I told them I had a session and I was just recording my exp. today, she questions me, then remembers me and says, "If you don't like my dog in my park, then you need to get out of my park!" When confronted, she tried to deny saying it, but the 2 wyt climbers called her on it. Another resident tried to come to her defense until invited into the conversation of how to make a change for all ppl to enjoy the park. After putting 2+2 together of 2020 + 2025 incidents, our programs, telling w/him to make change happen w/his ppl, he took on a hero complex and started to yell at her -"these kids have enough time in life for you to be harassing them!" He looks back so proud of himself, shook his head like he solved the problem.
These our the encounters, our experiences of Being Black in a public park in . The same park. Our choice is the same monopoly gym company that hasn't repaired harm or the free open space crag that brings harm.

This resident crossed boundaries threatening children at Indian Rock Park. Before sharing Nature City Camp pics, a little history: This resident harasses everyone timely 11:30a & 4p. She charges people, thrusting an unruly poodle on retractable leash no matter how much one says no. She excuses jumping, scratching, as he's friendly. Ask her to stop/go away, she'll chime how rude you are, denying her dog attacked while it's jumping. explores this park w/respect of Ohlone indigenous land, geology study, meditation, art therapy, nature space, environmental stewardship, to facilitating intro to climbing. Brown Girls Climbing, Spectrum Adventures, Homeschool Rocks, camps, clinics, therapy clients share this public space operated by Our communities fawn, giving elder pass on dog attacks on scared autistic kids, behaviors of lack of respect for independent peace, interrupting engaging conversations, misgendering, microaggression, attn seeking. Along w/lessons of land/climbing we've had to incorporate what harm looks like in this park based off of her...Harm looks like ppl asking where you're from, interrupting exploration to entertain them/dog, making comments about your ability, no respect for boundaries, an unleashed dog uninvitingly jumping on you.
Since spring module, we've hosted a few classes a wk here. We've had boundaries broken by her every week. Parents, kids, coaches all have said NO many times.
Plenty park area, she injected herself into the art meditation space created. Anticipating this, kids respectfully ignored her. Walking 25ft off path, she hovered over a child critiquing his drawing which took him :30 to sensory join the rest painting. He thankfully ignored her and she moved on, walking by misgendering a young girl climbing, "Are you the king of the mountain?" Impact of her presence suffocated air in alarm, throwing kids off balance. Before they could drop shoulders, catch their breath,
she reproached from another direction, marching up w/a wood chip to get their attn. One politely listened then walked away. She stood over every child w/unruly dog critiquing work. cont...

Homeschool Rocks Adventure Course fall season started deeply immersed in the water kayaking, standup paddle boarding with SeaTrek and teambuilding beach excursions in Alameda. We have more adventures this fall in session 2: Land & Rock Module starting Oct. 30th. This progressive program provides the opportunity to develop climbing and gross motor movement, and experience nature immersion, in an organically small group size, safe environment.
