California Grizzlies Skills Development Training continues in the Bay Area over the next two Sundays.

Saint Mary’s College, Moraga, CA

📅 Dates:

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Players should arrive ready to go by 9:00 AM.

These sessions focus on skill development, decision making, and preparing players for representative rugby.

This training is free to attend and no registration is required. Just show up ready to train.

These sessions are part of preparation for the California Grizzlies All Star Tryouts. More details will be released soon.

Sacramento Skills Development Continues This Week

California Grizzlies Skills Development Training returns to Sacramento this Wednesday.

📍 Location: St Patrick Academy
5945 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95824

📅 Training Dates:

• Wednesday, March 18

⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Players should arrive ready to go by 7:00 PM.

These sessions are focused on individual skill development, game understanding, and preparing players for representative rugby.

Next Wednesday, March 18 will be the final Sacramento skills session before the California Grizzlies All Star Tryouts in early April. More information on the tryouts will be released soon.

Men’s U19 & U23 return for another international campaign.

Argentina is one of the best places in the world to tour. It’s demanding, physical, and honest. It forces players to adapt, compete, and grow. We’ve toured South America before. We understand the tempo, the edge, and the standard required to succeed there.

Argentina sharpens players. The pace is relentless. The contact is real. The rugby culture runs deep and every match tests decision-making, toughness, and composure under pressure.

But this tour is about more than rugby.

It’s the camaraderie built through shared challenges. The friendships that last well beyond the trip. The food and the culture that make the experience unforgettable. Long nights around an asado, empanadas and milanesas, dulce de leche, and the energy of experiencing a Los Pumas match live. The people, the pride, and the passion for the game are unmatched.

The first ever California Grizzlies Girls International Tour is officially locked in. Our U17 and U20 squads are off to Australia in July 2026.

Sun. Sand. Surf. Fast footy. Real test matches.
    
Australia plays fast, hits hard, and have a, takes no prisoners attitude. This is a genuine first for our girls: first international tour and first chance to play in the southern hemisphere.
    
Expect accents we won’t understand and the near certainty someone asks if we know their cousin in California.

This tour will challenge you, sharpen your rugby, and deliver an experience that changes how you see the game and yourself.
    
This is not just a rugby tour. This is a life experience.

The California Grizzlies All Stars are heading back to Montana in 2026 for the Great Northwest Challenge.

Our Boys and Girls U16 and U19 teams will compete against top All Star programs from across the country.
After winning the U16 and U19 Boys divisions and finishing as runners-up in the U19 Girls division, the Grizzlies return to Bozeman on June 13–14, 2026, ready to test ourselves again at the highest level.

The event also doubles as a major college showcase, with multiple collegiate programs in attendance. The California Grizzlies are the official All Star program of , proudly representing the very best talent our region has to offer.

What an incredible experience touring Japan! We are so grateful to our gracious hosts and the entire rugby community in Japan for the warm hospitality, competition, camaraderie, and friendship.

The level of skill, technique, and passion for the game that we witnessed from Japanese players was truly exceptional. We have learned so much and have been inspired by your skill based approach to the game. This trip has been an invaluable opportunity for our players to grow and learn both on and off the field.

A big thank you to the parents, supporters, friends, and families who made this tour possible. And of course, a heartfelt appreciation to our amazing coaching staff and team management for their vision, mentorship and leadership.

Most importantly, we are in awe of the young men who represented the Grizzlies with such pride, integrity and class. You are outstanding ambassadors for the Grizzlies, your home club and school programs. This experience has been outstanding because of all of you.

What an incredible match with Shibuya Rugby. While the final score may not have gone Shibuya’s way, their young players showed true grit, determination, and heart on the pitch. The respect and sportsmanship displayed by both teams was truly inspirational - this is what rugby is all about.

After a long travel day, the U19 and Collegiate Grizzlies made it to Sugadaira (Rugby Town), Japan and got their first training in this morning! It was a beautiful morning and we look forward to another afternoon training and exploring the area!
