After a big road win to open their season, the next generation of Eagles is ready to keep it rolling. Come out, get loud, and give these guys a true HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE!

Update:
Last night's game was dedicated to Autism Awareness! The coaches dawned special shirts to raise awareness and players dedicated the game to those with Autism. Great job gentlemen!

The Eagles hit the road Friday night for a tough matchup with the Brunswick Dragons. Messalonskee battled from the opening whistle, putting together some big plays on both sides of the ball and continuing to fight until the final seconds.

The Eagles found the end zone twice and had several strong defensive stands, including creating pressure in the Brunswick backfield and coming up with a turnover. The offense showed flashes throughout the night, while special teams helped keep the Eagles battling for field position.

In the end, Brunswick came away with the 28–14 victory, handing Messalonskee its first loss of the season.

The scoreboard may not have gone our way, but there was plenty to build on. Football seasons aren't defined by one Friday night—they're defined by how a team responds. The Eagles will get back to work, learn from this one, and turn their attention to the next challenge.

On to the next one.

The Eagles hit the road TONIGHT and head to Brunswick! After opening the season with a big win on their home field, Messalonskee is ready for the next challenge as they take on the Brunswick Dragons under the Friday night lights!

I get to play the game that I love, with guys that I love like brothers.

Plans after graduation:
I’m planning on going to KVCC to be an electrician

Advice for the younger Eagles:
Always hustle until the whistle blows! “Work your butt off in practice so the games feel easier” - Coach Cusano.

What does being a Messalonskee Eagle Mean to you?:
To me, being an Eagle means being a part of something bigger than yourself. It means representing our town, school, and family.

Plans after graduation:
Attend a 4-year college/university to study economics and play football.

Advice for the younger Eagles:
Don’t take any of it for granted. The seasons go by a lot faster than you think, so enjoy the practices, the games, and especially the time with your teammates.

The Eagles worked hard last Friday in their win over Camden Hills! Week 1 awards and stickers have been handed out, and there were a lot!

The Eagles are getting ready to hit the road and take the field in Brunswick this week! After opening the season with a big win at home, Messalonskee is turning its attention to the next challenge as they prepare to battle the Brunswick Dragons under the Friday night lights.

Please note that there was a slight change to the schedule, this game is planned to start at 6:00pm!
