I Love you Pops,
For all that you endured in this life, as a child, a man, a father and grandfather, you carried a heavy burden that you choose not to let go, there is something admirable yet sad about it all. I speak not as your son but as a man traveling through this life, grateful for what you gave me and yet sad that I couldn’t help you. I tried and can only hope your next chapter brings with it the strength you developed for pain and the wisdom of this life.
