Learn to dance Bachata in our upcoming 8-Week Bachata Class Series. Classes are Friday nights in Oakland at SALSA WITH JUAN.
This multi-level bachata class series is for Beginner to Intermediate students. It will teach you awesome Bachata moves you can take right to the dance floor. By the end of the 8 week series, you will have a good understanding of Bachata to dance anywhere in the world, with anyone, anywhere!

Hola Familia! A quick update about January classes. Wednesday 7pm Beginners Couples Classes and 6pm Thursday Beginners Footwork classes are SOLD OUT.
The good news is, there is still a few spaces in the Thursday Night 7pm Beginner's Couples Classes if you have intended to dance salsa with us for the start of the new year. We suspect those spaces will be taken soon so we wanted to let you know.
We are opening up registration for February and soon for March, so if the class you want in January is sold out, check for February or March.

We have missed dancing with you all very much this year and we’re excited to announce something new coming up in just a few weeks.
In November we are having IN PERSON special classes on Wednesday and Thursday nights! There will be some changes to make this possible and comply with new California covid guidelines.
We can only operate with 10% capacity to allow for social distancing between each dance couple and you must bring your own partner. This means we can only offer a very limited amount of spots for the classes and pre-registration will be required (No Drop-Ins Allowed). The upside is that the class sizes will be small so you will get some extra attention! Yay!
The schedule is as follows:
3 Weeks of Classes starting November 4th to Nov 19th
Wednesdays 7:00pm - 7:45pm - Beginner Level (Nov 4, 11 and 18th)
Wednesday 8pm - 8:45pm - Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate (Nov 4, 11 and 18th)- This will be a multi-level class. Juan and Jan will come around to each couple and work with them according to their dance level.
Thursday Beginner Level 7:00pm - 7:45pm (Nov 5, 12, 19)
Thursday 8pm - 8:45pm - Pre-Intermediate to Intermediate (Nov 5, 12, 19)
Other Important Details to Note:
-You must wear a mask to attend the class.
-Social distancing required from other couples (at least 6 ft) and there will be plastic separators set up in between in each couple.
-Must bring your own partner. Because of new covid guidelines, there will be no partner switching and you will dance only with your dance partner.
-No-Drop Ins and must commit for the full 3 weeks. Because we can only allow limited spots, please only sign up if you can make each class. (There will be no refunds and no future credits for missed classes.)
-Temperature checks and health questionaire will be conducted previous to entry so please arrive early to each class.
Classes are 45 minutes to allow for disinfecting in between classes.
