About the event:

Festa da Capoeira is Ginga Mundo Oakland's annual batizado event. Hosted by Formado Chipa and his students, our Festa da Capoeira will feature capoeira workshops and rodas led by Mestre Sabiá. We are excited to announce that we will have Mestre Amen as our special guest. We will have our batizado event to initiate new students and promote continuing students. And this year, we will also be hosting our Capoeira Music Festival!

"Vivencia" means to live an experience. During our event, students will have the opportunity to experience capoeira classes from new teachers and engage with students from the Bay Area capoeira community.
