Put your mask on first.
We've all heard this phrase, but often forget — or just can't figure out how to do it.
So many of members of our community are taking care of parents, grandkids, ailing spouses, grown children, dear friends, neighbors in need...but they forget to care for themselves.
Join Roy Remer — Executive Director of the Zen Hospice Group and mindful meditation teacher — for his new workshop on how to care for yourself while caring for others on June 27th.
Learn how to put your mask on first drawing on Roy's newly published book, "Zen Caregiving." Receive practical tools, compassionate support and thoughtful guidance that might change your life, as well as the lives of those you are caring for.

Join Baxter Bell this Saturday for the third and final installment of The Best of Baxter Series and watch him bust The 10,000 Step Myth.
Walking is great for health, but the popular goal of 10,000 steps a day doesn’t tell the whole story. Research increasingly shows that healthy aging depends on a wider range of movement skills. Baxter sheds light on the body’s movement system and his original Yoga for Healthy Aging Four Movement Skills, sharing yoga practices that support strength, balance, and long-term vitality.
This Saturday, June 20 — 2-4PM

In-person spaces are filling fast for this Friday's soundbath! Register by end of day tomorrow to secure your spot for the early reg rate of $25!
Once a month on Friday evening we dim the lights and unwind with restorative yoga taught by Ann Dyer Cervantes, followed by an immersive sound bath performed by a different Bay Area guest musician each month — this Friday, the Gong Woman herself, Karen Stackpole.
A virtuoso/Percussionist Karen is renowned for her powerful and hypnotic gong performances — gorgeous, drony, and transcendental. Using innovative techniques Karen creates shimmering fields of sound that will have you unsure of where the sound ends and you begin.
Come join us — if you're into that sort of thing!

t’s been almost a month since I took a break from teaching — excited to be getting back to class this Sunday!
It’s been an eye-opening few weeks (n more ways than one!) I’ve had the time and energy for more open-ended personal practice — and it’s been fascinating.
You might wonder how many “aha” moments there can still be after 50+ years of yoga. The truth is, they never stop coming, if we can slow down enough to notice them. And this little break gave me more opportunities for that.
There’s a lot of power — and a lot of insight — waiting for us when we can take the time to connect to the support that already exists.
Hope to see you in clas on Sunday!
