In this video, I talk a little about how we already know how crazy life and the world is and I have no doubt that the majority of us are stressing out. So I wrote a book that’s short and sweet and it helps deal with stressors at home. I carry most of my tension in my neck, so I hear I demonstrate a stretch I do almost daily.

Where do you carry most of your stress and tension?

How I Create More Balance When I’m Feeling Stagnant

There will always be times where we might feel this way, but even if we can’t do everything I mentioned, these are the things I did for more balance and clarity Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually, when I felt stuck or stagnant.

Cleaning our room and spaces are a given however we can’t forget that there is more to life than just going to work, going home, and paying bills. This is NOT life!

I challenge you to pick at least 3 things you’ll do within the next 3-6 months. Comment below and remember to follow and share for more.

You’re never too young, old, or athletic to stretch, strengthen, or mobilize your body. We live in a time where majority of the population is primarily sedentary, immobile, and often tense.

I used to train competitively in my late 20s in one of the most strenuous sports in the strength world (Strongman), and I was a walk-on track athlete at UC Berkeley where I experienced my first knee injury during strength training. I made it a point to prioritize recovery given what I was putting my body through. I would get acupuncture almost weekly, I’d stretch, and foam roll before and after my training, and I’d eat mostly clean and nutrient dense foods daily.

If I hadn’t incorporated recovery routines within my training cycles, I can’t imagine what type of condition my body would be in now. However, I am always reminded of the value behind recovery routines and practices such as stretch - especially given that I’m not nearly as active or limber like I used to be.

Stiffness or tension within doesn’t only make you feel like you’re locked up in your own body, things like blood flow and circulation can also be affected.

With that said, do your best to get a solid strength and mobility routine at least 2-3 times a week. If you need help on figuring out where to start, simply leave a comment below with any questions, dm me RECOVERY to get on a discovery call, or book your first stretch therapy session with a me.

You may have missed the meeting, but it’s not too late for practice! Parents ARE SIGNING UP! REPOST this!

Hey Y’all! Good Afternoon. We just went to visit the Golden Elite Track Club in Pensacola last Saturday, and real work was being put into place.

We have been trying to get the word out online and in person at various schools, stores, restaurants, and other organizations for several weeks about off-season coaching for track and field athletes ranging from 4th to 12th grade in Okaloosa County.

This organization is an AAU-certified travel league and was established over 20 years ago. You can see more updates and information about us on their page and visit their website at goldenelite.club.

We’re starting an extension of the Golden Elite Track Club (Pensacola) in Fort Walton Beach at Choctaw High School, and the head coach is Coach V, who has a background in physical therapy and sprints. I’ve been coaching off and on in strength sports, and in fitness for 18+ years, and recently coached some youth at Choctaw in shot-put and discus since 2024. We will be offering coaching on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. from October 4th to December 28th.

Our first practice is on October 4th at 11:00am at Choctaw High School. Please repost this to get the word out. We’ve got some kiddos signed up and we’re working with youth from 4th-12th grade on Saturdays and Sundays.

Whether it has to do with agility, speed, explosiveness, or strength, track and field is essential for creating a well rounded athlete and track and field community here in Okaloosa County. In the event that your primary sport is basketball, soccer, football, softball, or the likes, the most successful athletes I know have participated in track and field and applied their skills into their sport of choice.

Please like, comment, and REPOST this if you know any student athletes from 4th -12th grade interested in track and field and if there are any parents who need their kiddos to stay active during their off-season.

Thrive Like Me will give black and brown youth in Oakland an opportunity to connect with people of color who are working in corporate level industries and foster mentoring relationships.

We are extending an invite for up to 30 kids ranging from 13-18 years of age to come on these tours, and our FIRST tour will be at Netflix in Los Gatos, CA on February 26, 2020.

This is a passion project, and we strive to give more opportunities to black and brown youth from Oakland to be exposed to people who look like them in careers beyond the engineering pipeline.

We need your support in continuing to make this project thrive to create an impact at a larger scale. If you have any inquiries, have the desire to donate, or would like to offer your space to visit please send an email to [email protected].

Thanks for watching! 🎥✨Credit:

I was about 17 yoa here. In this photo, I was volunteering at a summer football camp and I thought I knew exactly where I’d be ten years from that point. 💪🏾♥️🙏🏾

17 year old Clinay thought she’d be happily married, a medical doctor, and on the verge of being well off somewhere in The Bay Area.

She had no clue what was in store for her bc she just KNEW that would be her path. 😂😂😂 She had so many things going as a year around student-athlete, and pushed herself academically because she was determined to get out of Rialto (which is very different now) and have a life that was so different from how she grew up.

Many thought she had an easy life, and she chose not to disclose that side of her until it was necessary. When she did share she was told time and time again she’d overcome...

As I look at this photo I realized I forgot so much of what went on during this time period bc I was in survival mode to get where I needed to be- The Bay Area.

But as years progressed I learned so much about life and making “plans”. It would throw me off like no tomorrow when things didn’t go as planned.

It took a lot for me to adjust to this, and some definite growth internally and externally to adapt. I lost a lot over the years and had to adapt instead of react. Bc although 17 year old Clinay had the determination to be her best, she did not have the mindset or social capital to adapt to newer challenges. She had to adapt to change yet again through her mistakes and life lessons...

So grateful to witness history literally being made across the board and boarders.

I couldn’t be more humbled and proud to represent with a team that is MUCH bigger than a meet. THIS IS A MOVEMENT! ✨💪🏾💙🙏🏾✨

I wouldn’t have missed this for the world. It was amazing to be surrounded by nothing but love, laughter, resilience, and positivity from all walks of life and various parts of the US.

This was all things powerful, all things legendary, and all things healing. Thank you to everyone I’ve encountered and embraced this weekend. You are truly LIVINGPROOF!!! ✨🇻🇮💙🇻🇮✨
