EB Warriors 14U

Warriors battled through 7 games this weekend to make it into the championship at the Usfa Fastpitch Softball Turkey Bowl in the HS division! Ladies battled all day Sunday with no losses and a Texas Tie breaker in the semi finals to work their way into the chip! Shout out to our #99 scoring two on a great line drive to right center securing our win!

Our pitching from Jazlyn #40 and Camryn #81 was on fire with the team work of their catchers April and Carleigh #22. We had our first TRIPLE PLAY on Saturday with some amazing infield teamwork from our sure handed SS #65 Baylee, turning a pop fly to our quick thinking 2nd baseman #5 Fay to get the runner leading off at 2nd, making a quick and accurate throw to our #18 Jaelyn with the stretch at first! It was clean and it was beautiful! Our outfielders #99 Eli, #31 Kaylee and #10 Nayeli making great catches saving runs for their team! We layed down some beautiful bunts, hard hit ground balls and some rockets into the outfield to our score our opponents!

All in all we ended the weekend with the sun setting over the field on a super long Sunday battling ourselves from the losers bracket into the Championship taking 2nd place overall in the HS Division!

Warrior girls played up in 18U this weekend! Securing the Silver bracket championship, winning 13-3! Our morning started out a little rocky with a loss in our first elimination game, but the girls woke up from there, battling our way through the championship game! We had some great bombs this weekend and made a few sweet double plays. We’ll miss our #1 and #3 Ferrari sisters, as this is their last tournament as Warriors! We sealed it with a win and wish them all the best and love from the Warrior family on their future endeavors! Back to the clay for the rest of us to continue working in our skills!

What a weekend! Witches Brew overnight midnight madness! The girls started off Saturday morning seeding at 1am, finally leaving the fields in time for some breakfast after our 5:30am game, seeding 4th with a Win and a Tie. Started elimination Sunday at 5:45 am playing until the championship at 2:30pm. We battled exhaustion, every season within 12 hours at the fields, from freezing cold to a beautiful 80 degrees to end our weekend. We didn’t play to our full potential, but had a blast and came home with some champions hardware.

We said our goodbyes to Charlotte last night. She’s California bound! She’s definitely going to be missed. The girls were laughing at my photo skills, yes I take pics with my camera phone upside down. Yes, they think I’m crazy🤪😂❤️

First 18U/HS tournament for your Warrior girls and they brought the heat! It was the longest weekend, missing a few girls, these girls fought hard all the way to the championship game! We couldn’t hold on to our early lead, losing by 1 run in the chip. I couldn’t be more proud of this group, when it was time to LOCK IN, these girls came out focused and were a force on the clay! As always we’ll be back to the lab to work harder and build our skills.

Missing a few but Morgan Rodriguez hooked up our warriors with some fresh new swag!
