For anyone who is interested: due to scheduling conflicts and other time constraints, I find that I will not be able to be the Head Coach for our team this season. I'd be happy to operate as the Team Director, but we still need a Head Coach. Unless someone out there is able to step forward, our team will be riding this year with Winter Park Composite. They are a larger team and already have their resources in place.
I will continue to support this team if we can build up enough interest. If it works out prior to the start of the season that we can get a coaching staff in place, we will go forward with the team.
If you want to ride, please look at Winter Park Composite on their page.

I'm happy to answer any questions about our team. Either post in the comments or send me a DM.

Today's practice was out at the Orlando Mountain Bike Park. The kids loved the features on the singletrack trail and Coach Brian even mustered up the courage to hit the small drop at the drop section. It was a great practice.
Our 2021 season is coming to a close in a few weeks. It's hard to believe that we've already gone through the season. It's been a pleasure coaching these boys. If anyone's interested in joining the team, please send me a DM. I'm more than happy to talk about our team!

It's Race Day! Both of our student-athletes did a great job! We did have one accident which took one rider off the course with a DNF, but fortunately he is okay and good to race another day. The weather cooperated wonderfully for us, and a storm the previous night gave us hero dirt on the course today. It was a good day for riding! And Coach Brian even got a chance to volunteer as a Course Marshall. Doesn't he look official? @ Dyer Park

Lake Nona Composite MTB Team has just finished our second event at San Felasco State Park. Hammer the Hammock is a roaring success and we had so much fun! If you have any children in 6th to 12th grades that would love to be involved with our team, I extend an invitation to send me a note. DM me here on Facebook, or contact me via email at [email protected]. Registration for this season is closed but we're staying to get the word out for next season. Come help us

Hammer the Hammock is officially in the books. There is so much going on at these events it's overwhelming to write it all down. Suffice it to say, our boys had a great race. The course was just the right amount of tech and flow, with some great fast sections. We had our first mechanical, but Loch handled it like a pro. I'm so proud of our little team. And thanks to these boys' parents, without which I wouldn't be able to do this. Great weekend, everyone! @ San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park
