First off, thank you to everyone who registered for the 10th Annual Running of the Donuts 5k. I am excited that we have been able to keep it going this long.

It was pointed out that when we first opened registration, the only option was to do the 5k. We have brought back the donut eating portion. If you would rather do the Donut portion where you run 1.5 miles, eat 6 donuts, then run another 1.5 mile, please let us know at check in. If you would like to do both, please bring an additional $10 to help cover the cost of your donuts. (This does not apply to everyone as some registered after we fixed registration)

We are doing medals for the first 150 in the open 5k. We are also doing awards for the winner of each age group.

The 5k will start at 8 am with the Donut Run portion starting between 8:45 and 9:00.

We are still taking registration. If you have friends who would like to run, we will be starting day of race registration at 7:00 am.

Good News and Bad News!

The bad news is the city has asked us to reschedule the Retro Run. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, there was no way they could make it work on the 26th. We reached out to a few other venues but had no luck.

The good news is we were able to reschedule the date to the morning of June 25th. In doing so we were also given time to lock down some awesome race medals.

EXCITING NEWS!

The series was created as a way to promote the sport of running in Ocala. We've had a bunch of people reach out saying that they would love to participate, but they would have to miss one or two races due to prior commitments. Instead of penalizing those who can't make our races, we're going to reward those who participate within our community. For every local (Marion County) race you run that is not part of the series between now and November 11th you can earn one point towards your series total (Up to 15 pts). That means you run 15 additional local races, you can earn 15 points!

There is still time to sign up for the whole series.
