Rodman in the am. Be in the water ready to go by 5:30am. Xtreme is also there. Get there early. Remember fish care and stay hydrated. Gonna be a hot one! Also must take your own fish back out at weigh in.

Marion County Bassmasters meeting tonight at Terry's Bar and Grill Ocala 7pm! Fishing Rodman Saturday out of Kenwood. Only 3 more tournaments left in the season including this one. All anglers must have fished 5 tournaments or fished 4 and bought a tournament on the schedule to be eligible to fish the Classic. Classic is on the Kissimmee Chain out of Camp Mack Oct 10th & 11th.

Jeff Davis passed away earlier this week. We will keep you posted on any services.

Jeff Davis Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away May 11th, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Tracey Davis; his son, Jeff Davis Jr. and wife Lisa; and two grandchildren who were the light of his life—Hannah Davis, 20, and Connor Davis, 15.

Jeff dedicated 32 years to the fire service, retiring as Deputy Chief from the James Island Fire Department in South Carolina. He was known for his steady leadership, his deep compassion for others, and his unwavering commitment to protecting his community.

Beyond his service, Jeff’s greatest passions were his family, friends, and fishing. Whether casting a line or sharing time with those he loved, he found joy in the connections that made life meaningful. He will be remembered as a good man with a generous heart, a steady presence, a competitive spirit and a love that shaped the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the friends and colleagues he inspired, and the countless lives he touched.

A memorial service will be planned for early summer.
