VELOCITY HEAT REPORT
Velocity Girls Making Noise!
Another weekend of softball is in the books, and our Velocity Girls are giving us plenty to talk about! From impressive strike percentages to complete-game performances, these young ladies continue to show what hard work and dedication can accomplish!
Harper Stockman
Harper suited up as a guest player for the Dirty Birds this weekend and brought her command with her! Harper finished the weekend throwing an impressive 63% strikes! Way to represent, Harper!
Paisley McKelvey
Talk about a little extra motivation! Paisley found herself in the circle facing her former team, and she delivered! Not only did she bring home the victory, but she pitched a complete game with 8 strikeouts and just 1 walk! Paisley also finished the weekend throwing over 70% strikes! That's how you let your pitching do the talking!
Emerson Thorner
E-Fuego was bringing the heat this weekend! Emerson racked up an incredible 30 strikeouts while allowing just 2 walks and 2 hits! Even more impressive, she maintained a 70% strike percentage! Power and command are a pretty dangerous combination!
Hope Corcoran & Annabelle Dauss
These two Velocity Girls were getting it done for the 12U Ocala Outkasts! Both Hope and Annabelle finished the weekend throwing over 60% strikes! Love seeing these girls attack the strike zone and continue building their confidence in the circle!
Gracie "Spade" Thorpe
We've got to give a shoutout to Spade! Gracie was right around 60% strikes for the weekend! Another Velocity Girl showing that attacking the strike zone and trusting your stuff is what it's all about! Keep working, Spade!
Vivi Civitarese
Sometimes being a pitcher means putting the team on your shoulders! Vivi suited up for Octane this weekend as their only pitcher, taking on a tremendous responsibility. She stepped up to the challenge, finishing the weekend with a strike percentage approaching 60%! That's the kind of determination we love seeing from our Velocity Girls!
THE BIG TAKEAWAY?
Look at those strike percentages!
At Velocity Pitching, we love seeing strikeouts and big performances, but what makes us especially proud is watching these girls develop the confidence to attack the strike zone.
Velocity Girls aren't just throwing hard. They're throwing STRIKES!
Congratulations to all these young ladies on another outstanding weekend!
