To those who showed up last night to our cheapskate!
Thank you all so much!

It was such a fun filled packed night, we had such a great show out for people and a wide range of ages, which made it even more fun!

We appreciate all the parents who came out as well who got on the floor, and also just being there helps out a lot because you are extra eyes and a lot of parents came up and thanked us for our service and also just make sure that our rink stayed safe for other kids as well!

I can’t say this enough, but we have such a great community! Thank you so much everyone for joining us.

Please continue to follow us and give us your trust and we’ll make sure we become the best rink around!

Just wanted to extend my hand again, and thank everyone from the hockey team, including the coaches, the skaters and even the parents for all pitching in with their time and money to help repair our borders for the skating rink!

These actions definitely do not go unnoticed and we appreciate them tremendously for all they do for us all the time.

It’s definitely a work in progress, but we are trying our best to make sure that we are improving our rink every day and they have been nothing but a huge help so if you see anyone from the hockey team or if you see Jeff Rabold please make sure to tell them thank you!!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to thank you so much. This first week of summer was definitely a change, but we appreciate you all showing up and coming out and having a good time!

We’ve appreciate all the feedback lately and we appreciate you all noticing all the changes that are happening.

I have people coming to me, explaining how they feel more safe and comfortable in our rink, how they’re catering towards more family and fun style type atmosphere, and overall just enjoying themselves a lot much more!

It means a lot that our efforts aren’t going to waste and also the fact that you can notice changes which means we’re headed in the correct direction!

We want to continue to extend our hand to invite everyone else to have a good time, but also want to let you all know that your voice and opinion matters so anytime there is something wrong or things need to be fixed changed or adjusted. Please let us know.

Without everyone’s feedback, will never know what we’re doing wrong or what we can do right for our community!

Just wanted to thank you all again so much. We look forward to having a fun summer with everyone!

Today’s session is from 11 AM to 3 PM ( mention the word fun) and you and any entry will receive a free 50 tickets in our arcade for kids to buy some gift gifts and toys with!

Also join us tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 for our cheap skate! We’re only $5 dollars get you in the building with skates!

Don’t forget friends today kicks off our summer schedule!

Come, hang out with us every day from 11 AM to 3 PM for our open public Skate session where it’s only $8 dollars if you bring your skates and only $10 if you need Skate skates! 

Bring your kids family and friends and come spend some time burning some energy and having some fun!

 Make sure to keep your eyes posted on our Facebook because we are going to be trying to do some different events throughout the summer to keep things entertaining!

We have been trying to update our music playlist and also trying to play a lot more different games to keep the kids and adults engage so if you have any suggestion, songs or anything you would like to be included during your sessions feel free to comment below and we’ll try our best to get them incorporated!

Thank you all again so much for all your support. We are so excited to be opened up so much to have all the kids and all the extra times to come hang out and Skate with us!

Calling out to all homeschoolers!
There was a young lady yesterday who had dropped one of her very sentimental pieces and was looking for a piece that had broken off and fallen onto our skating rink floor!

If anyone is part of the homeschool group, will you please let them know this message, I don’t remember the young ladies’s name, but it was very important to her!

Huge shout out to Coach Jerry for finding it after we struggled! He’s truly the best!

If you’ve spent time with us at Skate A Way South over the years, then chances are you’ve been greeted by Nancy’s bright smile inside our café. She has been such a special part of our family for many, many years, and so many of our skaters and guests have grown to love seeing her warm and caring face each time they visit.

Recently, Nancy received the heartbreaking news of the passing of someone incredibly close to her — her best friend. During this difficult time, we ask our skating community to please keep Nancy in your thoughts and prayers and send a little extra love her way as she navigates through this loss.

Thank you all for always being such a caring and supportive community, not just to us, but to the people who help make Skate A Way South feel like home.

Help us give her the strength to help her navigate through this hard time and also give her everything she needs to have a safe travels to and from.
