Completely forgot to post the race results from our final night at The Bullring Marion Speedway during speedweeks in February and since there was no racing this week, what better time then now.

Overall this was another epic night with the Factory Fourteen team. Tons of growth as the night went on along with the biggest heartbreaker we've experienced to date.

Heat: P3 --> P1 🏁

Redraw:
Since he was fired 😂 from redrawing Thursday night, Dax, Gavin's cousin, along with his assistant Maddie pulled a 2 to put Gavin starting on the front row in the biggest race of his career as of yet.

A Main:
From the drop of the green Gavin grabbed the lead and didn't look back. He led the first 8 laps until a caution would erase his lead and bring the field back together. With some heavy hitters behind him he had to be flawless. After falling back to 3rd another caution would bunch up the field again. During this next restart 1st and 2nd would start slightly higher and Gavin dropped towards the bottom and when it would look like he may have been able to come out of the turn in the lead, unfortunately the motor had other plans. Smiles turned to tears as we were all completely heartbroken for Gavin however these kind of things happen in motorsports when you least want them to. A character building moment for sure and a night we definitely would've loved to see how it would have played out. He may not have won but a podium was a big possibility. Nevertheless we are all so proud of Gavin and how far he came that weekend starting on Thursday.

Thank you to everyone that came out over the four nights to Marion but also that support him near and far not only this weekend but always.

It was an absolute pleasure and honor for Gavin to wheel these incredible cars and he looks forward to the next time he is able.
