So let me get this straight. These 5 ships just went all the way up from VA to NJ & NY , fished Monday Tuesday, and half of Wednesday, couldn't fill up. This is a clear indication that the adult bunkers are simply not abundant. If you have the best tools and most skilled skippers available, a fleet of highly experienced pilots with spotter planes and everything, and the fish cannot be found, nature is talking and the ASMFC is not listening and using failed data. Went fishing on the Sea Hag with and crew. Despite it being ungodly hot we scratched out a great day. 1/1 on BM, 2/2 on white marlin, and 2 eye balls (130s)

One was caught on an 80 but the other was caught on a d**k rod made by . It performed very well (as expected) for a rod designed for white marlin tournament fishing. It has fast action for a white marlin bite yet enough ass to bring up a solid eyeball.

In true, IWYDWTC fashion, a certain mate who shall remain nameless (but rhymes with Rake) did break off a YFT and i managed to burn the hell out of my thumb when i tried putting extra heat on a GBFT.
