The Ocean City Yacht Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Annabella Scafario on qualifying for the 2027 Optimist National Team Trials! This outstanding achievement is a testament to her hard work, determination, and commitment to becoming one of the nation’s top young sailors. Annabella’s dedication on and off the water continues to inspire our entire junior sailing program. We can’t wait to cheer her on as she represents OCYC at the Team Trials and competes against the best Optimist sailors in the country.

Congratulations to Matt Hark and Anthony Valentino on winning the MAYRA Club 420 Championship today at the Ocean City Yacht Club! Their teamwork, preparation, and determination were on full display as they earned the top spot against a talented fleet. (Instagram)

Matt and Anthony lead by example every day as instructors in our Junior Sailing program, and today’s victory is a testament to the skill, sportsmanship, and passion they bring to the water. Our young sailors have incredible role models to look up to.
