Thinking about buying your child’s first bike? Don’t Buy One They’ll “Grow Into.” A bigger bike isn’t necessarily a better value. An oversized, heavy bike can be difficult for a child to control, steer, and stop safely...especially when they’re still learning.

🚲 A better rule of thumb: Look for a lightweight bike that’s appropriately sized for your child. Ideally, the bike should weigh no more than about 30–40% of the child’s body weight.

The right bike can make learning easier and a whole lot more fun. Stop in and let us help you find the right fit.
