Picture on the left was less than a week before I started training with you. Picture on the right was me rolling out of bed this morning. I try to stay off the scale because me and numbers have a bad relationship, but my clothes fit crazy different in just a short time. I know it’s not much, but my arms definitely feel bigger and stronger already. I unfortunately can’t control the loose skin or stretch marks but I NEVER thought I’d start to see even the tiniest bit of definition on my stomach. My students even pointed it out to me last night. Which brings me to another non scale victory….
I had a tiny dancer who was wearing a two piece to class. Another kid pointed out her “bigger” belly. Of course it made her cry 💔 So I threw my insecurities aside and took off my shirt and taught in a crop top to show that bodies come in all shapes and sizes and that an active and strong body is a healthy body. 3 weeks ago I would have never had the courage to do that. That tiny dancer who had sat out at that point and refused to dance was now up and moving and living her best life in class 🥹
Thank you so much for being insistent and staying on me to walk my ass through those doors to train with you (and for putting up with my s**t 😬). I know I’ve got a long way to go, but I am so thankful for YOU and the small progress we’ve made this far 🙌🏽🙏🏽
Ok that’s the end of my novel… for today at least 🤣🤣🤣🤣
