Welcome to our Herd Pasture, a one-of-a-kind space for horse owners looking for a private yet roomy area to board their multiple horses. Previously home to the Stepp Stables trail ponies, the pasture has stalls for up to FIVE horses, multiple hay feeders, a water trough, and shaded shelter.

Included with board is access to multiple round pens, large arenas, direct access to over two dozen miles of trails, trailer parking, and more!

🐴 Do you know the story of Sgt. Reckless?

Stepp Stables is the final resting place of this decorated warhorse that served with the 5th Marine regiment, 1st Marine Division. Originally a racehorse, she was trained to carry supplies like ammunition and medical equipment.

At the Battle of Outpost Vegas, she made 51 trips to resupply the front lines, delivering over 9,000lbs of supplies. She was brave, determined, and admired by the Marines she served with. Following the Korean War, she was awarded TWO Purple Hearts. 💜

One of the lesser-known facts about Sgt. Reckless is that she was also mother to a c**t named Private Fearless, pictured below.
