I recently transitioned from being a psychologist (both direct care and leadership positions) to a life and executive coach after experiencing burnout in various settings. The demands of my roles eventually took a toll on my health, affecting my sleep and overall well-being. Stepping back, I left my job, engaged in deep self-reflection, and gained clarity on my true passions leading me to pursue intensive training to become a certified coach (completing my CPC via iPec and will continue to obtain ICF's ACC and onward!). My work centers around two main areas of focus (yes, I’ve heard the “one niche” advice more times than I can count!)—but I’m not about to narrow my passions just for the sake of fitting into a box. :)
1. I help women in leadership roles overcome feeling burnout and feeling stuck or unfulfilled so that they can reconnect with their purpose and values. I do this via a powerful, energy-based coaching approach that blends leadership development with deep inner transformation. This could look like a client choosing to remain in their current role, but with renewed boundaries and strategies to safeguard against future burnout—or it might spark a complete reimagining of their career path, opening doors to possibilities they never previously considered.
2. I aim to clarify common misconceptions about coaching—especially those that arise within the mental health field, where I’ve spent much of my career. Through open and informed conversations, my goal is to ensure that clinicians can confidently present coaching as a valid, ethical, and empowering option for clients who have completed their therapeutic work. In addition, I offer consulting for fellow professionals who are curious about stepping into the world of coaching—whether they want to integrate it as a meaningful extension of their current practice or transition fully out of direct clinical care into a new, purpose-driven path.
