Today, we proudly celebrate one of our own, Class of 2025 alumnus Exio Duque, for being selected as the 2026 Florida Citrus Conference Baseball Defensive Player of the Year.

This recognition is historic, as Exio becomes the first player in Daytona State College history to earn this honor.

As coaches, we could not be more proud of the hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and commitment Exio has shown throughout his journey. Awards like this are never given. They are earned through countless hours of preparation, consistency, and dedication when nobody is watching.

Founded in 2012. 7-Tools Academy is an elite baseball program built on development, structure, academics, and real exposure opportunities.

Our home, “The Ranch” in Ocala, Florida, is a true training environment featuring three fields, batting cages, and a dedicated gym, with continued expansion underway.

At 7-Tools Academy we provide you an all-inclusive school alternative program combining baseball development with academics, tutoring, and bilingual assistance available for Spanish-speaking student-athletes.

Our high school and middle school program focuses on building a strong foundation for the next level through:

The 7-Tools Academy Bulls opened the season with a 6–3 win on the road over the A3 Academy Trojans.

The Bulls struck first, stayed composed through momentum swings, and closed it out the right way. Timely at-bats, disciplined pitching, and clean defense all around. Ten hits, two double plays, and a complete team effort.

This is the standard.
