WHAT AN AMAZING DAY FOR ASCEND FASTPITCH ACADEMY! 🥎

Today was a great start to something we’re excited to build!

We welcomed 11 girls to our first FREE homeschool softball practice at Starkey Ranch, and we couldn’t be happier with how the morning went!

The girls worked on their fundamentals, received hands-on instruction, challenged themselves, and most importantly, had the opportunity to connect with other homeschool softball players.

At Ascend, our vision goes beyond developing better softball players. We want to create a community where girls can build confidence, develop friendships, learn the game the right way, and grow together.

Today was just the beginning!

A huge thank you to all the parents who trusted us with their daughters and took the time to come out. We truly appreciate your support.

We’re looking forward to continuing these practices, welcoming more families, and seeing where this journey takes us.

Interested in joining our growing homeschool softball community? We’d love to hear from you!

CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL.

One of the most important lessons we want our athletes to learn at Ascend goes beyond softball.

You can’t always control your playing time, the umpire’s calls, the outcome of a game, or what others think about you.

But you CAN control your attitude, your effort, your preparation, your body language, and how you respond when things don’t go your way.

That’s where growth happens.

It’s easy to have a great attitude when you’re winning, playing well, and everything is going your way. The real test of your character comes when things get difficult.

How do you respond after an error?
How do you support your teammates when you’re not playing?
How do you carry yourself when you’re frustrated?
Do you make excuses, or do you find ways to get better?

At Ascend, we’re not just developing better softball players. We’re developing young women who understand accountability, discipline, leadership, and resilience.

Focus on what you can control. Take ownership of your actions. Trust the process.

That’s the Ascend standard.

10/12/2026

One of the biggest lessons we can teach young athletes has nothing to do with hitting, fielding, or throwing a softball.

It’s learning how to grow as a person.

Sometimes growth means letting go of excuses, fear of failure, negative attitudes, and the need to compare yourself to others.

Not every game will go your way. Not every opportunity will be what you expected. And not every challenge will feel fair.

But what matters is how you respond.

At Ascend Fastpitch, we believe developing athletes goes beyond teaching the game. It’s about building confidence, accountability, discipline, resilience, and learning what it means to be a great teammate.

The player you want to become starts with the decisions you make today.

Our goal isn’t just to develop better softball players. It’s to help develop strong, confident young women who are prepared for life beyond the field.

Keep growing. Keep learning. Keep raising your standards.

More than softball. It’s about who you’re becoming.

09/06/2026

A special day for Ascend Fastpitch Academy.

Today we stepped on the field for our very first tournament as Ascend Fastpitch 14U.

This is just the beginning.

For us, this is about more than putting a team on the field. It’s about creating an environment where athletes can develop, compete, learn the game, build confidence, and be surrounded by coaches and teammates who push them to get better.

Today was our first opportunity to compete together, learn together, and begin building the culture we want Ascend to represent.

Proud of the way these girls competed, supported each other, and represented Ascend.

Day 1 in the books.

Back at it tomorrow.

ASCEND. DEVELOP. COMPETE.
