A throw back to the mid 80’s with myself, Carrie Peterson and Dress Up Dolly! Let’s point out a few quality things here…Rust jods…a classic (and should be mandatory for all children- because why do we now need to stress about a small child keeping tan clean 🙄). I do in fact have my guarders on (not sure if they belong to me but that’s a different story) and my saddle pad appears to be clean (again, ownership can not be confirmed). But holy cow that’s the biggest number I’ve ever seen! Showing the 80’s was so much fun and that was the bestest darn small pony that there ever was! She did it all! Hunters, eventing, pony club, xc, games, swimming and even came inside the house for Christmas each year. I’ll have to find that pic. 💕🎀

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 winter at WEC. Congratulations to all of our riders and horses on a fabulous season. A few highlights….

Kennedy and Fellini were champion twice in the .85’s. This was a new partner and ring for Kennedy and we couldn’t be more excited for their future!

Kennedy and Pixie also snagged a champion week 5 in a very competitive children’s pony. Pixie also claimed several top ribbons this winter and consistent scores in the 80’s.

Kennedy wrapped up her year lease with Elvis mid circuit after success in the children’s pony leading to top prizes. We wish Elvis all the best on his next endeavor!

Argento 2 navigated his 1st show season like a pro! Moving up from the 2’6” to the 3’ young hunters through the season. Argie was reserve champion twice in the YH, claiming 2 hack wins and several blues over fences. The future is bright for this young star! ⭐️ Thank you Maddy Scharf for the lovely rides.

Finley and Henry joined us early in the season for a show. After 2 blues, a red and a championship, these 2 held the top spot on the circuit leaderboard for several weeks, ending up circuit reserve champion!!

Amanda & Froggy played in the jumper ring week 11 with several clean rounds and top results in a massive division. This was a great come back show for this duo after a brief break from the show ring.

Brooke joined us for the last 2 weeks of the season. She piloted Leroy Brown to 4 class wins and a championship in the .85’s. She also teamed up with an incredible mare, Aphrodite. These 2 had several clean rounds and prizes in the .90 - 1m. We loved having Brooke at the shows!!

Brooke and Leroy Brown dominated the .85’s with 2 class wins and champion this week out of almost 30!! We are so proud of this team for all of their hard work! 🐎🦄 Brooke- thank you for the great rides!!

HTF riders worked to fine tuned thier skills over the past 2 days with Janet McCune offering her guidance and perspective. Great work ladies and big thanks to Janet for spending the weekend with us.

We said a bittersweet ‘see ya later’ to Elvis as he and Kenny ended their year together. They went out with a bang winning the 1st trip today with an 85, their best score ever! We’ll definitely miss him in the barn. Big thanks to the Costa’s for sharing him with us. Good luck buddy, we hope your next family feeds you mash to your hearts content! *Elvis would like to be a spokes-pony for mash, I’ve never seen another horse love it like he does. 🦄🫶🏻💌

Argento 2 continues to impress us- he moved up to the 2’9” this week and earned scores of 84.5 & 87! He brought home his 1st blue over fences and an impressive 2nd in the hack out of 46! ✨

Congratulations to Kennedy and her Falling Moon Front Page- Sm/med Children Pony Champions this week. Pixie & Kenny were so perfect in some super cold and windy weather yesterday then moved into the indoor arena today like champs! They also finished 3rd in the classic 🫶🏻🎀🦄🧚‍♀️
