Out of respect for the families, victims, and everyone affected by the recent tragedy in Midland, Odessa Young Pickleballers will be canceling tonight’s session.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted, and we want to take this time to recognize and thank the first responders, law enforcement, medical personnel, and all those who stepped forward to help during this difficult situation.

Safety and community are at the heart of Odessa Young Pickleballers. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support as we stand together with our West Texas community.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the courts soon. 🏓💚

What a great session at Odessa Young Pickleballers! 🔥

Last Friday, players came together for an evening of pickleball, competition, learning, and fun. It was great to see everyone on the courts enjoying the game and helping us begin building Odessa's youth pickleball community.

A huge thank you to everyone who had attended, supported, and helped make our group a success. Every player who shows up helps us grow something special for youth in Odessa.

🌦️ WEATHER UPDATE 🌦️

Good news! After continuing to monitor weather conditions and forecasts, Odessa Young Pickleballers will be meeting as scheduled tonight! 🏓🔥

While there is a chance of rain during our scheduled playing hours, current forecasts do not indicate severe weather in the area at this time

For everyone's comfort and safety, we recommend that participants bring: 🧥 A light jacket or rain jacket 👟 Shoes with good grip 💧 A water bottle 🏓 Their own paddle

We are prepared for changing weather conditions and have access to a safe shelter location if needed. Should conditions worsen or severe weather develop, parents and guardians will be notified immediately and participants may be asked to be picked up early.

At this time: ✅ We will play through light rain if conditions remain safe. ⛔ We will NOT play if lightning is present in the area.

A final decision regarding tonight's activities will be announced before 6:00 PM.
